Chapter 6: New School

I heard my alarm on my phone *rrrrrriiiiiiiiinnnnnnngggggg* ugh it's 6 o'clock already. I reached over towards my night stand grabbed my phone and turned off the ignoring alarm. I really didn't wanna go to school because meeting new people isn't my thing and all eyes on the new girl is scary because I am the new girl once again. I finally decided to get up and take a shower, brush my teeth and wash my face. After finishing that up I went to my closet and I just stood there because I had all these new clothes and didn't know what to wear. Ugh! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! I screamed. Then I heard my phone vibrating on my night stand. I ran over to see who it was and of course it was Taylor.

"Hello?"

"Mornin' Kas, what you doin'?"

" Mornin' and trying to find something to wear but I can't"

"Girl all them fucking new clothes and you don't know what to wear!"

"I know man but ima find something anyways you riding with me right?"

"Duh" she started laughing and said "I don't even know why you asked!"

"Right" I started laughing harder

"Well I'll be outside by the car at 7:15"

"Uhhhh okay"

"Aight see you in a minute"

I hung up the phone went to plugged up my big curlers and went back to the closet. Then I thought to myself why does school start so freaking early ugh! So I started picking through my clothes then I decided to wear my Barons jersey that is black and white and it has the number 45 on the front of it with Barons and on the back it has Jordan with the number 45 in big print with a white spaghetti under shirt, my black Levi jeans and my concord 11's. After getting dressed I pulled my chair in front of my dresser, plopped down and begin putting big loose curls in my head so I could have a full loose curl look. Then I started applying my makeup putting on eyeliner, mascara, a little touch of blush and lip gloss to give my lips a little shine. When I was done I looked in the mirror and damn I was looking fly as fuck but something was missing ...hmmm oh yeah my accessories I decided to wear my silver diamond MK earrings and my new silver MK watch. Now I looked like a million dollar girl.

Oh shit! I ran towards my phone and it was already 7:20 and I had 2 missed call from Taylor. I grabbed my keys, purse and backpack and started heading out the door but before I could get out the door my mom stopped me.

"I see someone's rushing this morning."

"Oh hey mom and yes because Taylor told me to be outside by 7:15 and now it 7:22."

"Oh you have a new friend!"

"Yeah she's pretty fun and cool and she's our next door neighbor, but ima let you meet her at another time ma cause I gotta go."

"Well okay ima let you go hunny and you are already registered so all you have to do is go to the office and get you schedule."

"Okay mom love you."

"Love you too hunny have a good day at school" she said kissing my forehead.

When I walked outside Taylor was leaning on the car on her phone.

"Well you didn't have to pick up the damn phone" she said raising her head up from her phone.

"Tay didn't I say I couldn't find nothing to wear" i said unlocking the car doors.

As she got in the car closing the door behind her she said "You could've fooled me because you looking fly all eyes gonna be in you today."

I started laughing and told her to play some music. She shook her okay and said "Can we go now?"
