I was sitting in class waiting for the bell to ring. I looked at the clock and silently counted down 3,2,1. Everyone scatterd out quickly. I walked down the steps to my Locker put my books away and grabbed my jacket. I really didn't wan't to go home. My mom work's all the time and my stepdad eat's, sleep's, plays his video games and is a alcoholic. I would go live with my dad but he died when I was three. Do I miss him. Didn't know him to miss him. I walked to my bus and sat down. I took out my phone put in my beats in and started listening to warrior by Demi Lovato. She's my favorite artist, her music got me through middle school. I don't have many friend's, only one true friend. Jen, her name is jen Marshall. We've known eachother since we met at third grade summer camp.

Jen is in my grade. But she's still sixteen, becasue she has a late birthday. About ten to fifteen minutes later the bus stopped at my bustop. I got off and walked home. I opened the door and the smell of alcohol went straight up my nose. I went into the living room, he was sleeping half way on the couch half way off. like usual I cleaned up his mess. After I cleaned up his mess I went upstairs into my room and studied for my History test, I had Thursday. After about an hour and an half of studying Jen texted me.

Jen - Heey! Blake is throwing a party saturday night, He said I could invite some friends! You in?
Me - A party... yeah that doesn't sound like me.
Jen - Cmon! You have to all you do Is sit in that house like a bumb on a log! PLEASEEEE!!
Me - I don't know...
Jen - OH CMONN!!
Me - Okay fine.

What did I just agree myself into. Later that night mom came home. " Hey mom? " I walked over to the couch. " Yes honey? " she gave me a half smile. " Is it okay if I go to this boy Blake's party saturday? Jen will be with me. " I said sitting down next to her. " Well... yeah. That's fine honey. " she smiled and gave me a hug.
" Thank's mom " I said walking away back upstairs into my room. I sat up against my headboard and went on Instagram. I was scrolling down my newsfeed when I saw a picture of Blake. I met blake when I met Jen, we all went to the same summer camp. We were all bestfriends. Untill He turned into the most popular guy in freshman year and I was the most Dorkiest girl in freshman year. There was not a single thing not to like about him, he was smart,kind and really handsome. He was literally the whole package. But he wouldn't go for someone like me. I woke up to American Dream by MKTO going off as my alarm. I pressed the dismiss buton on my phone and got in the shower. I looked in my mirror I was wearing my hollister skinny jeans with my pink shirt and uggs, My hair was pulled into a fishbraid. I waited at the bustop untill the bus came. On my way to Math I bumped into Blake. " Hey Amara. " he smerked. " Uh- Hi Blake. " I said looking at my feet. " Why everytime we talk you act so shy? We've known eachother since third grade. " he tilted my chin with his fingers in the upward position. " Well didn't you noticed every since freshman year You kinda went one way and I went the other? " He looked confused and almost hurt. " What do you mean? " " I mean Your the big Mr. popular and Im just oh - hey yeah it's Amara. Do you get what im saying hear Blake. " Blake looked at me, and said " Is that how you see yourself? Oh just Amara. " He said seriously. " Well kinda, that's always how everyone see's me." " Well not me. " I gave him a confused look and tunrned away. He grabed my arm and I turned back around. " I don't just see you as Oh It's just Amara. I see you as a beautiful, smart, kind funny girl, that just lost her way. " He smied at me and then, kissed me. " woah. " I backed up. " Um. Blake you need too get back into reality umm I didn't know if you knew this but you have a girlfriend. " He looked like someone just stabbed him in the back. " Im so sorry I don't know what happend I just wanted to kiss you and just sorry. Im stupid. " I walked away and went to find Jen. " Jen! " she turned around and started walking towards me. " Yeah whats up? " " Um.. something just happend. " " Well what is it.." Jen said shaking her hands. " I was talking to Blake and he kissed me. " " WAIT WHAT!! " Then the bell rang. Great I almost forgot I have Math with Blake. I walked into math and sat down, Blake sat two rows behind me. The whole math period he was trying to get my attention. But I really wasn't trying to get more involved with this drama. By the time It was lunch everyone heard about the kiss. Literally everyone. I was eating lunch when Blake's girlfriend came and sat down next to me. Madeline. " Hi Madeline. " I said taking a sip of my chocolate milk. " Hey. So would you like to tell me what happend this morning.? " She said chewing her bubble gum. " Well Blake and I were talking and then he just kissed me. But I didn't kiss him back. " I said itching my nose. " I know. I just don't understand why he prefers you over me.?! " She said letting out a frustrating sigh. " Um.. Excuse me did I miss something here? " " Yeah, Blake broke up with me, becasue he said he has liked you for a really long time and the only girl he ever really wanted was you. " " Im sorry.. Madeline. " " It's fine. It is what it is. " she got up and left and that was that.
