Hi, I'm Katherine Gardner but everyone calls me Katie. I'm a half-blood, daughter of Demeter to be exact. I live in Manhatton with the freaking Stoll brothers, Travis and Connor, because I don't like my father.
I wake when I feel freezing cold water poured on my head. I shoot up and glare so hard at the Stoll brothers, pic at the top or side, that are literally rolling on the floor laughing. "STOLLS!!" I scream. I make the venous fly trap beside my bed snap at them. They shriek and back up. Miss. Stoll walks in and sees me dripping wet.
"Boys!" She scolds them. "How many times have I told you not to wake Katie up by dumping a bucket of water on her?"
"37," they mumble. Yeah, 37 times they've woke me up like this.
"What do you say to her?" They glare at me but I only smile innocently.
"We're sorry," they say in unison.
"Okay, now go get dressed for school," with that she leaves.
"I still haven't gotten my revenge," I say getting up. "So, stay away from plants," with that they leave my room in a rush. I blow dry my hair and it goes to its straight ways. I put on a white long sleeved shirt that has dark fushia on the sleeves with the same colored beanie. I put on some black skinny jeans and combat boots. I put on my black leather gloves that stop at my knuckles and turn into any weapon I want.
I do a little cat eye with black eyeliner and put on a little blush. I brush my teeth then start down the steps. When I'm on the last step I see Travis walk in front of me right before I bump into him, making me fall on top of him.
"Sorry," I mumble getting off him.
"I know I'm irresistible but did you really have to fall on me?" He says getting up.
"Oh shut up, Stoll," I roll my eyes.
"Yeah, because everyone knows I'm the better looking Stoll," Connor says from behind me.
"No, I am!" Travis says then they start agruing.
"Who do you think is better, Katie?" Connor ask after a while.
I step back while putting my hands up mocking surrender. "Don't bring me into this."
"Okay put it this way. Which of us would you rather go on a quest with?" Travis says.
I don't answer for a little then Miss Stoll says, "Guys, breakfast!" We all look at each other then rush to the kitchen. She has pancakes on the table with glasses of orange juice.
As we eat Connor says, "You still have to answer," then keeps eating.
"Answer what?" Miss Stoll ask.
"Which is better looking," I answer then stick a piece of pancake in my mouth. They all look at me expectingly.
"Well, which did you choose?"
"Oh, neither," I say then take a sip of orange juice.
"Well, get to school before you guys are late," she says tossing us our keys. I get in my red camaro while they get in thiers. We had Leo build 3 walkie talkies and put them in the radio.
"Race?" I ask.
"You're on, Flower Girl," Connor says.
"Last 1 there has to kiss the second 1," Travis says.
"You just wanna kiss Katie," Connor teases.
"No I don't," he stutters.
"3,2,1," I say real fast then speed to school.
"Cheater!" They say behind me. When we get there Connor somehow gets in front of me.
"Styx!" I exclaim getting out of my car after we park.
"Ha! You have to kiss Katie!" Connor exclaims to Travis who turns red.
I roll my eyes and kiss his cheek. "Never said where," I say.
