Time-out

Sophia's -Prov-

I woke up and I was so hungry but i didn't want to wake Demi. I jumped out of bed and made my way to the kitchen. When I got into the kitchen I grabbed a chair and put it next to the fridge. I stood on the chair and I almost fell backwards. Once I regained my strength I opened the fridge and looked inside. I didn't see anything but I remembered mommy getting this really good thing out if the cabnit (bread) and put it in this one thing that made it really hard (toaster). I scooted the chair to the cabnit and got the thing out. I grabbed it and jumped off the chair and scooted the chair to the other thingy. I put the thing in the thingy and waited. It took really long so I grabbed a fork and stuck it in. Right before I can stick it in I heard mommy yell "SOPHIA DONT" I dropped the fork and ran to her. She picked me up and told me "honey what were you thinking you could have killed yourself" I told her "I was hungry and didn't want to wake you up I'm sorry mommy" I said all that and then I started crying. She took me into the corner and told me "you will sit in the corner for 12 minutes"

"NO" I said
"What did you say" mommy said
"I SAID NO"
"Well you were bad so I don't care"

She started to walk away and so did I.

Denis -prov-

I can't believe she just yelled at me. I turned around after our little argument and I heard little steps. I turned around only to see Sophia trying to walk up stairs. I ran to her and she tried to run up the stairs but her little legs weren't fast enough. I grabbed her and told her "now you get 20 minutes"
"But mommy you just said 12 minutes"
"Yea well that was before you tried to sneak away"
She just looked at me and I noticed she started to turn red. I ran up to her and picked her up and yelled

"BREATH OK YOU ARE NOT GETTING OUT OF THIS"
she still would not open her mouth I then told her "fine ok you win". She let out a breath and put her arms around my neck and her head in my shoulder. I just relized that my daughter just manipulated me. I walked to the couch and she put her hand on my boob but I took it off. I told her "no you don't want to go to timeout you don't get milk" she took her hand of and got off me and sat on the other side of the couch. I didn't care she was not going to get whatever she wanted all the time. I turned I the tv and Sophia's head shot up and yelled "DORA DORA DORA PLEADE MOMMY" I looked at her ad decided to put it on. Once I put it on she jumped on my and watched Dora. After about 2 hours of hearing the map song I thought it was enough. I looked at the time and it was only around 2 and I needed to get more shopping done. I sat Sophia down and grabbed her hand and walked upstairs. We did the routine got dresses. Sophia was wearing a pink shirt with a cat on it and blue jeans and her white converse. I grabbed her hand and went to target. When we got there Sophia ran to all the toys and she picked up the girl Legos with amazement and put it back. I picked up the Legos and asked her "do you wan these you can get anything you want" she looked at me and nodded her head. She needed up picking 10 or more other games and dolls and we made our way to the high chairs. I picked a black and white one and we also got her a better car seat which was black and white with pink polka dots. After we were finished we put everything into the car as I was Hungary so I asked Sophia "Sophie you Hungary" she nodded while her head was on the window. We went to Starbucks and I got out and went to get Sophia but her seatbelt would not come off and she kept hitting my hand so she can get out. I eventually got her out and we went to the cash register. Let's just say the worker kind of freaked out. I asked Sophia what he wanted and she pointed to the hot chocolate and a blueberry muffin and I got a coffee and a muffin. We sat down and ate and when we finished we went home.
