I hugged my little 10 year old brother. "I don't know what I'd do with out him" I thougt. I grabbed my bag walked to the car. We drove to the airport. My mom, dad, Alex and I hopped on the plane. I sat down plugged my ear buds in and went to sleep.

I woke up just as we landed. I grabbed my travel on bag and walked out. Right when I walked out, a crisp autumn breeze hit me. Along with it a nice clean smell of autumn and newly fallen rain of New York City. I hear my mom fussing at Alex for forgetting his toy on the plane. While they go to get the toy I ask my dad, Steve, 'When's your meeting'. 'I have one tomorrow and then the day after that' he responded. 'Since I won't be there that much I'm going to give you some money to go shopping with, since well, we are in New York' he said while giving a genuine smile. 'THANK YOU SOO MUCH DADDY! I LOVE YOU!!' 'Your welcome pumpkin' he said right as my mom and Alex came back, with the toy.

We headed to the hotel, which by the way was fantabulous! But Alex was really into the, well idk but he called it parkour. Where you jump from one thing to another, he was so into it. We went up to our room. It wasn't the penthouse but pretty close. Another "bigger" Alpha took it. Oh well. 'Whoa' was all I could say when I saw the view of NYC, it was absolutely breathe taking.

We set down our bags and decided to walk around Time Square before eathing dinner. I took a lot of pictures on my Galaxy, tbh I don't like Iphones sorry lol. Once we got hungry we stopped at a local pizza place. They had the best pizza ever. I mean I'm not lying hands down best pizza . We went back to the hotel and went to sleep.

I woke up at 10, and no one was in the room. 'Huh that's weird' I thought. 'They probably went to get breakfast'. I went into the kitchenette and there was a note from my my and Alex saying they went to get breakfast and they'd bring me some. 'Yea I'm not going to starve today. I decided to take a shower. I grabbed my shampoo and conditioner and some clothes to change into. Yes I brought my own shampoo. I want my hair to be nice and soft, also that stuff is crap. I turn the water on hot so that way its nice and steamy. I lathered my hair and began to rinse it. I stupidly decided that I was going to rub my eye. I got shampoo in it and I felt like i stabbed it. Gosh I hate that. I got out of the shower and blow dryed my hair then straightened it not wanting to deal with my hair today. Then put some base, bronzer, blush and some mascara on my top lash. I finished that and my mom and Alex came into the room with a bagel and a grapefruit. Yum my fav. 'Here ya go Nadia, a bagel and grapefruit for the lady' Alex said in an English accent. 'Nadia were going to dinner with your grandparents tonight, and tommorow going to lunch with your dad and the other guys once the meeting is over' my mom said. Okie dokie cool with me.

When my dad got home it was 6ish. We went out to a fancy restraunt. My grandparents live in New Jersey so it wasn't a horrible drive. After dinner my grandma took me shopping and grandpa took Alex. First we went to Forever 21. My grandma looks over to me 'Aren't you 16?' 'No I'm 18 grandma,why?' 'It says you have to be 21 to enter, your not 21. I'm pretty darn sure I'm not 21, I don't think we can shop here honey.' I start dying laughing. 'No grandma its just a name, I know 12 year olds who shop here.' Her face turned as red as a stop light. 'Well what are we waiting for' she said while laughing.

After 2 hours of shopping we thought we should quit for the night. We met up with Alex and grandpa at the hotel. We got up to the room and said by to my grandparents and Alex plopped on the bed and sighed. Out of the blue he asked me 'Nadia have you shifted yet?' 'Yea why?' 'Well I've never seen anyone shift or have I seen your wolf, or anyone in our packs to be honest' he said with a sigh. It took me a minute to think of a reassuring answer to his puzzling question but eventually I said 'Well first of all your only 10, mom and dad don't want you to see that, sorry but I understand that. Second off I have only shifted occasionally, idk why but I do. Thirdly your the next Alpha for the Crescent Moon Pack, you should ask if you can get around more and see more. It's probably a test.' 'But what if it isn't! What if...' I cut Alex off before he could say anything else. 'ALEXANDER STEPHEN WILLIAMS DONT YOU DATE DOUBT YOURSELF YOUR ARE THE MOST KIND HEARTED PERSON, YOU WILL BE OK
