Betrayed ( A kotlc fanfiction)

Chapter 1: The Note

Sophie couldn't believe it. The Neverseen had tricked her! And she was going to be in so much trouble.

A couple hours earlier....

"Hey Soph", Biana said, "Do you want to come over to my house tonight?" They were talking over their imparters. 

Sophie sighed. "I can't. I have a ton of homework." 

"Oh", Biana said hanging up. She looked sad. Sophie felt bad about rejecting Biana but her homework wasn't the only reason she didn't want to go. She'd also have to see Fitz. 

After they decided to just be friends, it broke Sophie's heart. She wanted to be more than friends, but clearly he didn't want that anymore.

"Sophie", Edaline called, "Dinner!"

Sophie smiled and ran downstairs she could smell the mallowmelt and ripplefluffs as soon as Edaline conjured them. She smiled sweetly at her parents. "This is what we're having for dinner?"

They smiled back. "You could use this after everything that's been going on", Grady said. He was right. Fintan had escaped his cell a few months ago, and Keefe was gone. 

Keefe. Sophie thought. She missed him so much. She was shocked to find his note in her room. Now, no one had no where he went and if he was okay. Sophie was most sad to read that they would never see each other again. But Sophie was determined to find him no matter what.

After Sophie finished dinner, or dessert, she headed back upstairs to finish her homework. Lately, her teachers have been so demanding.  Then Sophie noticed a note on her desk. She gasped. It was from Keefe.

It couldn't have been from Keefe! Sophie and everyone else hadn't seen him in nearly five months. She read the note. It read : Hey Foster, bet you really miss me huh? Can't get enough Lord Hunkyhair? Well, we have to talk about something really important. About the neverseen. Meet me at the Wanderling woods at midnight and don't tell anyone, not Sandor either. Make sure no one sees you. I miss you, Foster. It was signed Keefe.

Sophie hated the thought of sneaking out escpically without backup. She would need to come with an excuse if she got caught. Keefe had Neverseen information that might help her. And she did really miss him. 

........Time skip to later........

It's five minutes to midnight, Sophie thought. Keefe could be waiting for her. She reluctantly grabbed her imparter and pathfinder and transported to the Wanderling woods. After a few minutes, she looked around for Keefe. It was too dark, and she couldn't see anything. "I didn't think you'd show up." Sophie stopped moving. She knew that voice an it wasn't Keefe's. It was Fintan.
