Chapter 7: Restorationists

Marley, five years earlier

About five years earlier at Marley, in the year 824. An ashamed Eldian Grisha discovers his own path in life when he turns 18 years old. By that time he took over his father's clinic, during the meeting with a fellow Eldian who is a patient he visited, and the fact that this man is named as Grice.

But since it's only about three days when Grisha becomes a doctor, he's just a first training doctor, however since for the checkup for any injuries that have been made going on while Grisha writing down to see anything wounded as it seems nothing. Until he sees a wounded scar mark on his shoulder as something did happen with only Grisha to question him.

"What is that wound of yours?" Grisha questions Grice when he sees a scar mark. "This is proof I'm a patriot." Grice replied as it proves he is a patriot. "A patriot?"say Grisha as he was getting confused with what he said.

"Your sister was killed by a man in Marley Public Security." said Grice telling Grisha the circumstances that there was an officer that murdered his little sister from Marley Public Security. When says that Grisha suddenly felt shocked and surprised inside as he hasn't heard that from seven years ago. "We have an informant inside the Marley government." said Grice that they have the informant inside from the Marley government. "There are some things you need to hear." Grice tells him that there are more things for Grisha needed to hear, causing feel something is wrong with Marley.

Since then Grisha wanted to know what he needed to hear as Grice told him. By such luck, Grice allows him to visit a hidden place where there are fellow Eldians, who were also patriots. During the revealing of what happened to the death of Grisha's little sister, Faye.

"It can't be...! You're kidding me...!" Grisha, tearing up as hearing that Faye was murdered by an Marleyan officer, the same one that took her away. Which revealed that the officer brings out his three sons with having pets of canine dogs that suddenly eats her alive at the riverbank.

Then when he learned the truth of his sister's death, he swore in his heart. And that he'll show them who the real devil was.

Grisha later joined the group called the Restorationists shortly that gave him the motivation, he made a crossed-shaped scar mark on his chest with a small shaped blade knife. And that their ancestors had done the right thing. In order to correct the world again, Eldia would have to be restored.

Their informant in the Marley government was called "the Owl." This man led the Restorationists without ever showing himself. Grisha devoted himself to the group and to interpreting ancient texts and planning to revive Eldia. While from their unseen mole leader, the Owl, the Restorationists were received firearm weapons, funds and few historical documents to learn the truth then from learning of Marley's teaching lies.

"Look! This is the truth!" Grisha called out his fellow comrades to look as they all gathered around.

"Our founder Ymir changed the history of the Eldians...Cultivated through the islands...Built roads...And bridges the mountains of our origin! She helped the people prosper along with the tribal Eldian king and develop this entire continent!" said Grisha, revealing the truth about Ymir's legacy.

"The history we were taught is just a convenient deception for Marley!" said Daniel, after hearing the truth and everything they Eldians learned were fan true and just a deception.

"That's right! Even if they fool others, they can't trick us true Eldians!" said from one of the comrades after hearing the truth and its false but truthful deception.

"Impressive, Grisha..." said Grice, seeing it quite impressive for Grisha. "You can read this ancient language." Grice quoting him that he read it was quite amaze.

"No... I still haven't deciphered most of it." Grisha replied that he still hadn't deciphered the words. However, knowing or not, of the actual writing of the true picture.

"Then how did you know the truth?" Grice replied to Grisha about how he knows it is true.

"Isn't it staring us in the face?" Grisha quotes about the Marleyans staring at them through the faces. "I know it because I believe in our founder Ymir! We're the chosen children of God! The Citizens of Ymir!" says Grisha to his fellow comrades that he knows because they're the chosen children of God, calling them as the true citizens of her kind.

"Comrades! The Owl sent us somebody!" said Thomas, telling those comrades after their leader the Owl sent a person to their group by entering the room.

"Nice to meet you, everyone." said the woman as she walked and entered the room where the men were in before revealing her as a blonde woman. "My name is Dina Fritz. I'm a descendant of the royal family." Dina reveals her name and her information.

Grisha allowed fate to steer his life and followed wherever it took him. Dina was the last descendant of royal blood who remained on the continent. She provided info about the past Eldians that only the royal family knew. This was the break the Restorationists needed for victory.

"I'm sure of it!" Grisha says to his comrades as he knows it is true. "The King took his own life into the island! If we obtain that, we can control all other continents and completely annihilate Marley!" Quoting that the king took away and kept his control of the island, as if they control all the continents, and annihilates Marley out of existence.

Much to surprise, all whole words he said gives out of the members to understand it and piercing them together but Grice try to think something that is left unanswered.

"But if he could wield his rule that absolute, why did he flee to an island." said Grice, about if his absolution wields all of lead to fleeing to the island.

"That is because he refused to fight." Dina answered his question that Karl refuses to fight, which surprises the members of the group. "At the time of the Great War, the King abandoned his role of balancing the continent's force and moved the capital to a remote island. And so, these wretched days we live in all began when the King turned away from conflict." Dina quoting that the king abandons his own role from balances of the main continent force, moving the capital to Paradis Island and leading to those wretched and shameful days they all lived all beginning after the king turned away from conflicts.

"Let's fight!" Grisha quoted, telling them they'll do the right thing that has never been for so long. "The true royal family held their ground on this continent for the sake of Eldia! It's time we bring the king back to them! My comrades! We'll overthrow Marley and restore the pride of Eldia!" Grisha tells the fellow comrades that, is all of everything they need to do, is bring the king back to them, to the main continent that once came, will overthrow and destroy Marley for the pride of Eldia.

The group will win and find the way, everything they once suffered, will come to the end as all of them agreed and end all of it. He looked at Dina, as she was surprised, speechless and hearted of tears, and walked into him, hugging him and feeling so strongly from his words.

By the following year, the two of them married and were blessed with a son. First and only child of the last royal family member. And one will become the tool to lead the victory.

His name was Zeke.

"A child with royal blood..." Grisha proudly looked close to his baby boy. "Someday, this child will lead us all to victory..." said Grisha, proudly seeing and holding his newborn son in his hands.

As time went on and on, people changed and as the world around them, the Eldians rapidly advanced. Turning into the point came for the Restorationists.
