Authors note: First off, sorry about the fact that I haven't updated in a while. Also, the fact that I still haven't started part 2 to my AoiNene one-shot(Most because I forgot how it even went). Anyway, since Valentine's day was yesterday I decided to write a Valentine's day related fic! Enjoy :)
(Also I'm kinda losing interest in TBHK so if I discontinue this and start making more Genshin Impact related content then I apologize)
"Hanako-Kun!! Please let me have the day off!" An unusually chubby ankled girl said to her ghost friend as she walked into one of Kamome Academy's school bathrooms.
"No can do!" A certain dark-haired Ghost boy replied back.
"Please Hanako-Kun!! I'll do anything!" Yashiro said, knowing that if she were to clean bathrooms, she wouldn't have any time left to go to the store(possibly to get a certain ghost a Valentine).
"Hmm.." Hanako pondered over what Yashiro said-
"Fine!" Hanako replied.
"Really?" Yashiro asked.
"Yep! But only if you...
spend Valentine's day with me all day!" Hanako exclaimed.
Yashiro wasn't very surprised. In fact, this was exactly the response that she had hoped for.
"Okay then! Cya tomorrow Hanako-Kun!" Yashiro said, happily exiting from the school bathroom.
"What was that about?" Minamoto Kou asked as he noticed Nene walking out of the Girls' bathroom at an unusually early time.
"Oh Uh," Nene said as she scrambled to figure out what to say other than 'I'm going to get Hanako-Kun a Valentine!'
(lmao I accidentally typed meme instead of Nene for this part at first.)
"My mom asked me to run some errands for her after school, so I asked Hanako-Kun if I could Have the day off!" Yashiro replied to the orange-blonde haired boy.
"Okay then! Enjoy your day off Senpai!" Kou replied to the girl.
"Thanks Kou-Kun," Yashiro said as she walked towards the school exit.
'Hmm, what type of donuts does he like again.' Nene thought as she looked up recipes for different types of donuts.
"I guess plain will have to do..." She said as she gathered the flour(Or whatever else goes into donuts sorry idk)
Later on, Nene went to the store and got a chocolate rose, one of those heart-shaped boxes of Chocolate, and a cute card that read 'Thank you for making all of my days a little brighter'(That was probably terrible anyways keep reading).

*After school on February 14th*
"Hanako-San, Hanako-San, Are you there?" Nene-chan said as she did what was basically her daily routine.
"Yashiro! Guess what day it is?" The shorter boy said in the most excited tone of voice Nene had likely ever heard.
"Valentine's day, right?" Nene asked.
"Yep! Follow me!" Hanako said as he floated towards the school's roof.
"Hey!! Hanako-Kun wait up!" Nene-chan said, both confused, and curious as to where the boy would be leading her.
(Another time skip to them on the roof)
"Hanako-Kun, I-" Nene said as she smiled holding the bouquet of roses that the boy had given to her.
"Yashiro..." Hanako asked his closest friend.
"Please, be my Valentine!" He said looking Yashiro directly in the eyes.
"I- Yes!" Yashiro said, nearly bursting into tears of joy.
"Yay!" Hanako jumped up as he hugged his now Valentine.
"Wait, Hanako-kun-" Yashiro said remembering the things she had gotten/made for him.
"?" The boy tilted his head
"I have something for you too!" Yashiro said, digging through her backpack and pulling out a decently sized gift bag, and handing it to Hanako.
"Here! Happy Valentine's day Hanako-Kun!" Yashiro said grinning as she watched him unwrap the gift as if was the first gift he'd ever gotten.
"Yashiro..." Hanako nearly cried.
"Y'know, I've never really had a valentine before you... so- thank you." He said with one of the most heartwarming smiles anyone had likely ever seen on his face.
"It wasn't really a proble-" Yashiro said, but she was stopped mid-sentence by Hanako who pulled her into a hug.
It's safe to say that those two had a very nice Valentine's day.
Bonus:
"Hey, Hanako-Kun?" Yashiro inquired
"What is it?" Hanako replied
"I wonder who Kou-Kun's Valentine is." Yashiro pondered.
Meanwhile Kou and Mitsuba
"What the hell?" A pink-haired boy asked Kou who was holding a small gift bag out to him.
"An actual Valentine's day gift? For me?" Mitsuba asked.
"I mean, it's not like anything romantic! I just realized that you probably didn't get many Valentine's day gifts before. Soooo."(we haven't leveled up enough for the MitsuKou confession story quest sorry besties😔)
"ARE YOU ASSUMING THAT SOMEONE WITH THE LAVISHING LOOKS OF ME WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN MANY VALENTINES DAY GIFTS BEFORE?" Mitsuba jokingly yelled at the other boy.
"No, no! Jeez just take it!" Kou said Honestly getting sick of Mitsuba's shit for the day(lmao)
"Fine!" Mitsuba said opening up the bag to reveal a container of his favorite food, flan inside.
"Well, I guess This is okay," Mitsuba said taking a bite of his flan.
"I'm glad that you enjoy it!" Kou grinned at the pink haired apparation.
