I wake up in a cold sweat, I had a bad feeling...
I walked to zawa's room and knocked on the door, and almost instantly got a response.
"What..?"-zawa
"I have a bad feeling about tonight, so i'm going to leave for a bit."
"Okay...don't do anything stupid."-zawa
"Got it."
I put on my suit and left, following my gut, I went west into a more rundown part of town only to see a kid my age getting beaten in front of a house.
"Please mom and dad i'm sorry, i won't d-"???
He was cut off with a hard kick to the jaw. I quickly got in front of him protecting him from his "parents".
"GET OUT OF THE WAY SO I CAN KILL THIS DAMN BRAT!!"-women
"I-i know you, you're the number one vigilante.."-man
"LEAVE."
The man grabs the women's hand and pulls her into the house..i turn around to see the kid past out..
'I can't leave him here so, guess da-zawa! Will have another problem child, for tonight at least..'

"Weeell...yes and no..okay yes i did but , his mother was trying to kill him while his father was watching, and when I stopped them he was already past out, i wasn't just gonna leave him there.."

I break down after hearing that, i fall to the ground with tears rolling down my face..i suddenly feel a pair of arms wrap around me, i tense up at first but quickly relax into the warmth..
