♧3rd person pov♧

Everyone was in the gym getting ready to fight Mirio. Y/N sat against a wall where amajiki was facing a wall. She sighed and watched from afar.
"So how are you" amajiki surprisingly spoke. 'I'm doing ok. I've gotten used to them' she signed.

"Well you look better than the condition you were in" he said. Neijre suddenly came up them. "Hey Y/N how are you doing you look good!" She gushed. Y/N nodded and hugged her knees. "What's with the long face
Y/N? C'mon talk to me. I haven't seen you since the rescue" Niejre whined

'Tamaki help' Y/N signed. "Oooh what'd she say amajiki?" Niejre asked. He looked at Niejre clearly knowing she didnt want to talk. Y/N was really only comfortable around her aunt and her classmates. Tamaki and miro had also visit her a couple times after her rescue.

Y/N was looking at her classmates being man handled by Miro and got a little angry when he punched momo in the stomach. Y/N sighed and threw her head back against the wall. She sighed as Niejre continued to bug her. She liked Niejre she was sweet and could be funny but she could be annoying sometimes

When she would visit Y/N after rescue
She would try and communicate with her and get her to talk and play games with her. Y/N of course kept to herself due to the trauma she wasnt ready to interact with people but that's a story for another time

"I tried to make it so you wouldnt see my willy. Sorry if you got a peak. But anyways that's a taste of what its like to fight me" Mirio said. The class sulked and held there stomachs in pain. Y/N sighed and crossed her arms just wanting to go back to the dorms.

"We all just go punched in the stomach without even knowing what was going on" midiorya grunted. "Right! So what do you think isnt my qurik strong?" Mirio said. Which pissed some people off. They went off on how he had way more experience and was much stronger than them which was wrong

Y/N honestly just tuned out there conversation and thought about other things. She wasnt very interested she already knew alot about the three.

♧months ago♧

"Y/N you've got another visitor today" a nurse spoke. Y/N just looked down picking at her hand. Mirio walked in smiling at her. "Good morning Y/N! How are you today" he smiled. She looked down still picking at her hospital gown

"Come on how about we practice smiling today again?" He asked her. This time she replied with a shrug. "Ok think about something that makes you laugh or is funny" he said.
She thought for a second and just remember pain

She then thought about her mother and how kind she was. She thought about how she would always make her laugh and support her. She then smiled for the first time in years. "There see I know you could do it!" He grinned

She looked at him clueless. "I know one day you'll be able to smile normally! Can you promise you'll at least practice and try to smile for me?" He asked and held his pinky out

She shakily held her hand out and locked pinkies with him. A pinky promise she would try
