"Watch where you're going, loser," Tiffany, who was the "Queen Bee", said to me as I bumped into her.

My face flushed. "Sorry," I breathed as walked away from her, my head down. I made my way over to my locker.
Okay, was it 2579 or 2759?

I was always forgetting these things. I wasn't very good with remembering things besides song lyrics.

"It's 2975," my best friend, Alexis, chimed in as she opened her locker which was right next to mine.

"Thanks Ally. Don't know what I'd do without ya," I told her with a smile.

"Neither do I. What did Regina George want from you?"

Tiffany, (known as Regina George between Ally and I), was the head of the cheerleading team. And, to make matters worse, she was dating Calum Hood, who was the captain of the football team. Also, he happened the guy I'd been crushing on since sixth grade.

"I bumped into her. It was my fault."

"No, Sarah. It wasn't. You need to stick up for yourself," she scolded.

Alexis was my best friend since kindergarten. We'd been inseparable since then. Ally was gorgeous, with hazel eyes and dirty-blonde hair that was a mix between curly and straight, giving her this unique beauty that she'll never understand. She hated it, but I thought it was amazing. It was way prettier than my dull, straight brown hair. Ally was a dancer, so she was fit, and she was tall, like me.  Not to mention her incredible personality, that fascinated everyone.

Throughout the years, she'd been my rock. My constant. Whenever I was feeling down, she was there. Whenever someone was picking on me, she stood up for me.

"Come on, we have to go to home room. Mr.Gage has been giving me crap for the last week about being tardy. I wish he would chill. We only have one more year 'till we get out of this hell-hole. Then we'll be free," she said with a smile, her eyes distant as if she was imagining it already.

It had always been our plan, to get out of Florida, go to New York. But I've started to think it was more of a dream than reality.

When we walked into Mr.Gage's class, the first thing I noticed is that in Ally and I's table in the back, there was a guy sitting there.

He was fairly attractive, with blonde borderline brown hair with blue eyes. And he was also staring at me.
