Chapter 2

Once happy got peter in to the compound Bruce hooked him up to an IV . In the room Peter, Thor, Natasha, Sam, Bucky, Nebula, Rocket, Bruce, Carol and Happy were seen about to begin the meeting. Natasha got up from were she was sitting and began "It's been 23 days since Thanos came to earth World governments are in pieces. The parts that are still working are trying to take a census. And it looks like he did... he did exactly what he said he was gonna do.

Thanos wiped out fifty percent, of all living creatures." Peter then spoke up "Where is he now? Where?" Sam looked at Peter and said 'We don't know. He just opened a portal and walked through." Peter nods his head and then he turns around and looks at Thor only to see he has his head down "What's wrong with him?" Peter said "Oh, he's pissed. He thinks he failed. Which of course he did, but you know there's a lot of that's going around, ain't there?"

Peter turns his head to see who said that to see it was Rocket who said it Peter thought he was getting delusional from being in space too long. "Honestly, until this exact second, I thought you were a Build-A-Bear." Peter said Rocket eyed him even though he did not know what a Build-A-Bear was he went along with it "Maybe I am." after a few moments of silence Sam spoke up

"We've been hunting Thanos for three weeks now. Deep Space scans, and satellites, and we got nothing.Peter ,you fought him." "Yeah i did but um he never really said anything before he left he just opened a portal and walked out in to portal and i guess went to Waknda to you guys" Sam nodded understanding "What about you guys do you know were he went" Sam shook his head

Captian Marvel then got up from were she was sitting and walked out of the meeting room but Natasha stoped her before she could go "Where are you going?" "To kill Thanos" Nat and Sam look at each other and walk to her "Hey, you know, we usually work as a team here, and between you and I, morale's a little fragile." Sam then speaks up "We realize up there is more your territory, but this is our fight too."

Peter also gets up and walks up yo her as well "Do you even know where he is?" "I know people who might" she stated Nebula is seen standing behind Carol "Don't bother. I can tell you where Thanos is. Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. And when he worked, he talked about his great plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask "where would we go once his plan was complete?". His answer was always the same"To the Garden."

Peter then laughs a little "That's cute, Thanos has a retirement plan"Bucky then speaks up for the first time "So where is he?" Rocket jumps on to a table and begins to speak "When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one's ever seen anything like it... Until two days ago". A hologram of a planet pops up, with a shockwave visibly traversing the surface."On this planet."

"Thanos is there" Nebula said "Then we have to go there to and get the stones back" Peter said all of them nodded until Sam spoke up "Ok that sounds good but Peter are you sure you are well enough to go?" "Yeah yeah i'm fine besides it will be fun to beat that prune bitch." Sam let out a small laugh "Ok but should you call your parents and tell them?" Peter put a smirk on his face.

"Sorry Mr.Wilsion I don't think the grave yard takes calls" he said wheezing the other people in the room looked at him scared for making a joke about his parents death. "OH my god Peter i am so sorry i didnt know" Sam said felling bad "Don't worry it is ok i will just call my aunt" Peter turns to Happy "Hey Happy can i borrow your phone real quick to call May and can i also call Ned and Mj after?"

Happy looked at him with teary eyes and looked sad "Um Pete i don't know how to say this but um -" He was cut of by Peter "No No please tell me they didn't....." "They were in the car when they called me and Pete um..." "No no please tell me what your about to tell me i cant lose her sh-s-she i-i-i-is a-a-al-l-l-all i have and i ca-n-cant lose n-n-ned and mj t-t-to-to""Pete they found there bodies....." a silence fills the room not a single person makes a sound feeling bad that Peter lost his last living realtivie and his only two friends. Then Peter passes out.

Happy takes Peter to the Med Bay and Bruce Che is on him and walks back to the others. "He's fine he'll just be out for the rest of the day" Bruce says and the others nod.They get suited up and head to the guardians ship and get settled in. "Alright who here has never been to space" Rocket asks and Natasha Bucky Sam raise there hands "You better not throw up on my ship." He says "Approaching jump in 3... 2... 1!"Nebula says

The ship begins to go speeding very fast and Sam eyes widen a bit in fear and he clutches to the hand rest on his seat.After a bit they had finally reached the garden planet were Thanos was located Carol drops down firm the ship to see if anyone else is there besides him.

She flys back to the ship "No satellites, no ships, no armies, no ground defenses of any kind. It's just him." She says "And that's enough" Nebula says.On the planet Thanos is seen getting some food from the garden and makes his way in to his hut to cook it.His arm and face are severely burnt due to the stones.All of the sudden Carol comes bursting through a wall and holds him in a chock hold.

Bruce in the Hulkbuster armor bursts from the ground, and grabs Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet arm. Thor flies in and slices off the Infinity Gauntlet. Sam flies down with Rocket and aims guns on Thanos' head.Natasha and Bucky walk in giving him death stares.

Rocket goes over to the sliced off Infinity Gauntlet, and kicks it over, as everyone realizes that there are no stones in it. "Oh god" he says and everyone takes in a breath scared as to why the stones are no in the gauntlet.

"Were are they" Sam asks but Thanos dose not answer so Carol tightness her hold on him "Answer the question" she says and after a bit he dose "The universe required correction. After that, the stones served no purpose, beyond temptation." He says.": You murdered trillions!"Bruce yells as he pushes him to the ground wearing Hulk Buster armor.

"Where are the Stones?" Natasha asks "Gone. Reduced to atoms."Thanos says to her "You used them two days ago!" Bruce yells."I used the stones to destroy the stones. It nearly killed me. But the work is done. It always will be.I am... inevitable." He says."We have to tear this place apart, he-he-he has to be lying." Sam says panicking a bit.

"My father is many things. A liar is not one of them." Nebula says looking at the floor .Ah, thank you, daughter.Perhaps I treated you too harshly."  He says.Thor had been filled with rage but this was the last straw so he raises to summon Stormbreaker, and before anyone can stop him, slices Thanos' head off. Thanos' limp body falls to the floor. Nebula wipes off some of the blood spatter.

"What... What did you do?" Rocket says shocked Thor looks broken, realizing what he has done."I went for the head." He says and walks out and uses stormbreaker to summon the bifrost sending him away form the others.After a bit they headed back in to ship and sat in quietness until Natasha spoke up. "So what do we do now" "Nothing there is nothing we can do besides accept it." Nebula says  and it was quiet again.

By the time they reached the compound Peter was awake. Natasha had been the one to tell him the news he didn't do anything but nod and left the compound. Soon everyone left besides Natasha and Sam. "So what are you going to do" Sam asks Nat "Stay here I mean someone's got to lead" she says and Sam nods "What about you" she asks "I'm just going to continue with the whole therapy thing" he says and she nods

After while Sam leaves and Natasha heads up to her room on the compound and heads to bed thinking that would be the last time all the remaining avengers would be together.
