Chapter two

I wake up with women surrounding me.

"She is awake girls" someone says

"I'm Ava" she greets

"Rachelle" I say touching my head

" She's really pretty" another girl says. I close my eyes listening to them talk about how beautiful I am, then sit up

"Where is she?" I say

"Where's who?" Ava looked at me with confusion lingering on her face

"Rouge! My daughter. Where is she?" I said with a little more frustration in my voice

"You have a daughter?" Ava asked a little bit shocked

"I'm not really her mother, but I'm the closet thing she has to one. So please tell me where she is?" I said avoiding the details of her real parents

"They didn't bring a little girl, only you" she said a little worried

I stood up a bit light headed. I paced back in forth with the little area I had.

"No,no,no,no,no" I cursed at myself

"What's so special about this Rouge girl?" She said with a smile spread across her face

"You don't understand! She's a Monroe, one of the last royal vampires"

"What do you mean?" She asked a bit confused with the subject

"She's the daughter of Michael Monroe and Lyla Smith" I said a bit frustrated at her

"Girls we need to get ready" she said gazing at the clock

"Ready for what?" I looked more confused than ever

"We're having dinner with the vampires in the dining hall"

"I won't be going" I snorted crossing my arms in a rebellious way

"You have too" Ava defended

"Fine!" I gave in to easy

"Put this on" she threw a dress at me

I pulled it up my body. It was a black strapless dress that came about seven inches above my knees. It was a little to much for my taste. I put on a little make up that consisted of eyeliner,mascara, smoky eyeshadow. I brushed my black straight hair down my back. I threw on a pair of black heels they handed me. I walked out where I was getting dressed.

"Wow... You look hot" Ava exclaimed

"Thanks" I showed a faint smile across my lips

We soon left the room for another, it seemed to be an oak door.

"All the new girls, you will walk in and sit now, do not speak a word unless you are talked to. You will tell them your name, age, and family if at all possible" she told everyone

I was the last to walk in through the door. I saw a seat in between two girls, so I took it casually.

"If I knew you were going to make an entrance I would have bowed down" the girl next to me said "Nicole"

"Rachelle" I said shaking her hand

A man soon stood up.

"Hello everyone I'm howl, glad to see you all are joining us. Why don't we started with the introductions?" I winced as the words left his lips

"I'm Maya, I'm seventeen and I have no family" she said as she stood up

"I'm Elena, I'm eighteen and I have a little brother"

The list goes on and on, you either have family or no family. I sighed when it got to me, I stood up and took in a deep breath.

"I'm Rachelle, I'm eighteen and I have a daughter" I said still standing

The room bursted into whispers. I could what some of them were saying, but the one thing that caught my eye was when Howl looked at me.

"She's such a slut" one of them said

"Howl will choose someone else and kill her" another whispered

"I bet she screwed some powerful vampire to get here" another said

I snapped at the mentions of me like that.

"If I were you I'd keep my mouth shut, I don't have the patience for girls like you, so don't try it" I snapped at the girls who said that

I took my focus off the girls an onto Howl. He seemed to have a faint smile dancing across his lips.

"And what's the child's name?"

"That doesn't concern you" I snapped crossing my arms

"You're brave I give you that but why if" he said walking towards me "what if I drain her dry?" He said with a smirk

"You won't have time"

"Why is that?"

"Who said you'd still be breathing?"

"The new girl just got extremely brave...bring her in" he said moving his hand toward him

As soon as the words left his lips, two men walked in with Rouge, I was on the verge of tears.

"Momma!" Rouge called out trying to get free of their grip

"Rouge!" I yelled going towards her but Howl stops me

"Unless you want to see her again you will have to do what I say and obey me" he whispered into my ear
