The Reveal

______ POV:
"Again, thank you Sebastian."
"It is no bother my lady." He smiled at me. I blushed but decided. I squeezed his hand.
"Hopefully he'll let me stay here, with you." He stared at my hand and talked.
"Surely you don't mean that my lady."
"You're the kindest person I've met since the accident. I do mean it." I put my other hand on his. "I want to stay with you." He was blushing severely.
"If you wish my lady."
"Sebastian, please only call me ______."
"Yes _____-chan." I giggled.
"No need to be formal. We are friends. And, I will continue to stay in your room?"
"No, that would be highly inappropriate for me to sleep with a lady that I am not attra-, well, not currently involved with in a relationship." I was a bit surprised.
"D-do I-I have to s-sleep alone?"
"Would that be a problem?"
"Sort of, I'm not so good with sleeping a-a-alone."
"Who did you sleep with before?"
"A cat."
"Well, you can sleep with one of my cats." I jumped forward and grabbed both his hands.
"No, I want to sleep with you!" I said demandingly, desperately and almost yelled. He looked shocked. "I'm sorry. I don't know why but I feel safer with you."
"You shouldn't." 'I failed to keep you safe once. As long as I'm still breathing I'll never do it again, even if it means destroying my own soul.'
"Why shouldn't I?"
"Ciel's safety always comes first. I've sworn my life to it."
"Well, Sebastian, please please let me sleep with you. We don't have to let anyone know."
"My master will need to know, just in case he stumbles in on us like Mey-Rin then he knows what is going on. Just remember, you needn't explain yourself to anyone except Ciel."
"Of course."
"Let's go then." So I enter Ciel's study and there was a blonde boy and a gray haired boy with an eye-patch. They were both well dressed and the one in blue seemed very annoyed. There was another butler in the room with black hair and glasses.
"Claude, look at that girl. Can she be mine, please please?" The blonde boy asked.
"Claude?" I questioned.
"Don't mind them." Sebastian whispered.
"Hey, Claude, don't let Sebastian touch her, she's mine." The two stared at each other but the boy continued on. "Hey you, girl! Strip for me. Right now. If you don't I'll have Claude do it for you." I looked to Sebastian.
"That is not Ciel. You needn't listen to him. If Claude lays a finger on you I will kill him, do you understand?"
"Yes Sebastian." He guided me forward to face Ciel. Ciel looked at me, then over my body.
"You seem strong. Sebastian, could you please remove these two before I lose my mind."
"Yes Bo-chan." He bowed and went to the other two.
"So, why do you want to stay here?"
"I've been living on the streets for two years and I don't know anything of my past since I've woken up from the hospital except that there's a man named Sebastian who I was engaged to."
"Sebastian huh?"
"Yes, I know, your butler. I thought that at first too but I don't think someone like him could fall for me."
"Don't be too sure, you are a beautiful woman and if you are capable that will attract him even more."
"Well he's very handsome and polite. I don't think I'd be fit for someone like him."
"Hmm," He came over to me and put his hand on my chin. "You know, I wonder what Sebastian would do if I kissed you."
"I, please don't."
"No? As you wish then, at least until
I have more information on Sebastian's feelings for you. What do YOU think he would do?"
"Me? I don't know. Surely, he doesn't like me like that."
"He was willing to linger five minutes out in the hall with you when I told him to come promptly. And for the first time in two years, he asked for some time off so he could spend it with you."
"Really? Do you really think he feels for me like that?"
"I know he does. Sebastian, does not blush over the appearance of a woman until just five minutes ago that is." He looked at me. "I wouldn't risk it though it could be a fun new game to watch instead of play for once."
"Game?"
"Yes, would you like to play me in chess?"
"Oh, I would love to."
"No one has ever beaten my master before in chess." Sebastian said.
"Well I just might surprise you." He took me to a room and we began to play. Near the end, he gave a move that was fatal. I took the shot and stole his queen with my rook. Now it was my rook and king versus his king. No one could outhand me now. I accidentally moved my rook too far by one and let go. He smirked and took my rook. He laughed but I looked at him.
"Chinpu meito." I said which meant stalemate, also meaning this game could never end. He stared at me.
"You cheated."
"Bo-chan, it is not a good thing to claim things that aren't true." Sebastian said, for he was watching the whole thing.
"You cheated." He said again. I just looked at him.
"No, I played you. The only one who cheated was you."
"I never cheated."
"You cannot place your king into a position of check." I took my king and moved it a square forward and knocked down his king. "Checkmate." Then I collected my jacket and had Sebastian escort me back to our room. He closed the door behind me.
"That was some excellent playing back there."
"Thank you." I turned around and he was right in front of me. "H-hey."
"You should be getting to bed now. I'll go upstairs and get you a nightgown."
"Okay."
"Don't leave the room without me my dear." He grabbed my hand and kissed it. My heart fluttered.
"Maybe Ciel was right." I muttered once he left. I sat on the bed then decided to play with his, four week old kittens? I couldn't tell their exact age. I found my favorite. A black one with some barely orange spots, or like speckles.
"I'll name you Speckled Night." Sebastian came back.
"This one has cats on it." He said and held them up with a huge smile. I stood, kitten in hand, and looked at them.
"They're cute."
"Have you come up with a name for this kitten, which is the runt?"
"Yeah, Speckled Night." He reached forward and began to pet him, which put his hand frighteningly close to my breast. He seemed only interested in the cat though.
"It's a beautiful name for him. Anyway, I'll leave you to change." He smiled at me as he stepped out the door. "Don't worry, I won't peek." I set the kitten on the bed then changed as fast as I could. He came back in as soon as I finished. He helped me into bed and the only thing seperating Sebastian and I was Speckled Night. Sebastian's foot brushed against mine and I blushed but did not pull away. I pet the kitten and so did Sebastian and it mewed for a long while. I soon fell asleep with my head on Sebastian's arm but something told me that Sebastian stayed awake and watched over the both of us all night long. I woke up in Sebastian's arms and the kitten I think was put back into the closet. I could tell Sebastian was awake but I pretended to wake him.
"Sebastian," I said quietly. "Sebastian, you're holding me." He opened his eyes and looked at me.
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry my lady. Maybe I shouldn't be sleeping with you."
"No, no, it's fine. I quite like it. I just didn't think YOU would be comfortable with it."
"You really think it's alright? If so I won't remove myself."
"Yes, it's alright. Remove yourself if you wish to." He hesitated with this desiscion. He looked at me for a long moment and pulled away a bit then stopped and actually pulled me closer to him.
"I hope you don't mind my lady but if it comforts you then I wish to make you better and it is only four in the morning, you deserve to rest longer."
"O-okay."
"Are you not really comfortable?"
"I am, I'm just nervous."
"Why?"
"Well, if someone comes in..." I trailed off.
"No, you needn't explain yourself to anyone except Ciel."
"Okay, also, I'm very shy. Being so close to you. It-it feels good."
"Excellent. I want you to be as comfortable as possible."
"I'd be more comfortable if I," I got closer to him and put my leg between his then put my arms around him. "Does this make you uncomfortable?" I asked him.
"No, it's very pleasant. Now rest yourself."
"Okay." I snuggled closer to him to get warmer and fell asleep. When I woke he seemed to be very much enjoying himself. He was holding me protectively as if I was his partner and his aura was happy. I pressed my face into his chest and smiled then twisted my leg around his and pulled it closer to me. I was in a happy moment until the door opened.
"Sebastian-sama, I'm just coming to pick up the dirty clothes." I heard the girls voice say. I pretended to still be asleep and I wiped away my smile. "Se-Sebastian,-" Her aura turned angry. "I knew she was sharing the room and bed but do they have to be sharing the same body?!" She yelled quietly. I yawned and pretended to be waking. She sharpened her tone. "Good morning _____-chan."
"You don't have to pretend to be happy." I stated and looked at her. "Sebastian's only holding me because it makes me feel safer. Although I don't know why I'm explaining myself to you when Sebastian told me not to."
"I, I just don't know why you're sleeping so close to him."
"He keep me warm."
"That's not a good reason."
"Well I'm sorry that he likes me better than you. I guess he just senses the difference in personalities and prefers mine. But, according to Ciel, it's my looks and if I'm capable he'll like me even more." Her whole face was red from anger.
"Well maybe it's only because,-"
"Mey-Rin," I heard Sebastian's voice say.
"Oh, Sebastian-sama..."
"Don't even say it like that. How dare you talk back to a guest. Why are you in my room? If to collect the laundry then why are you speaking to our guest, and in such a rude manner?"
"Well, Sebastian,-"
"There are no excuses Mey-Rin. Collect the laundry and leave." She collected it without another word.
"You didn't have to do that." He looked at me.
"Yes I did. She's completely fallen for me. But I'll never fall for her, I've already fallen for another."
"Which is?" He glanced down at me.
"You shall know soon enough."
"Okay then. Shall we go down to eat?"
"Of course, I must wake the young master. You can eat without me, I'll escort you down there though." He held my hand which I found unusual but he insisted on it. Ciel watched me eat, I found it a bit unsettling.
"So, how do you find my butler's company?"
"Quite pleasant and very comforting."
"I see, and Sebastian,"
"Yes Bo-chan?"
"How do you find our guests' feel?"
"Very enjoyable Bo-chan, she has an excellent personality and is much less clumsy than Mey-Rin." Ciel smirked and gave me a look then walked over to me and planted his lips on mine and twirled his finger in my hair. Sebastian went forward and put his hand on Ciel's shoulder and gripped it, hard, I could feel his anger.
"Bo-chan, that is a very inappropriate thing to do with someone else's fíance. Especially when you have your own." Ciel pulled away from me.
'Is she really?' He thought. I held up my left hand. Ciel stepped away from me and got back to his seat without another word. Sebastian came to me.
"I'm terribly sorry about that. I will explain something to you later, do you trust me?"
"Yes."
"Good then you'll have to trust me tonight. I will let you know and let you sleep on it."
"Okay."
"I'll trust you can handle it, I mean, I trusted you before and you don't seem to have changed."
"What?"
"It will all make sense later but I think I can finally tell you the truth."
"Sebastian,"
"Trust me."
"Okay. I will; I do."
"Two of those words I've been waiting to hear you say for a long time." He whispered then walked back into the kitchen. That sentence wrapped itself around my mind and it couldn't solve the puzzle. So I just put my mind to rest and waited quietly in Sebastian's room. I switched to cat form and played with Speckled Night. I cleaned him while he told me about his mother disappearing. He climbed on my back and his little claws were very sharp. I turned him over and poked his belly. He clawed at my paw and we played like that until the door opened. I put my paw on Speckled Night's head and meowed. Sebastian chuckled. It was very pretty. He came closer and lifted Speckled Night then put him back into the closet. I turned human. He locked the door then came closer to me. He sat next to me and grabbed my hand.
"Let me be honest with you, I have no idea how to tell you what I'm about to say. I am very nervous about how you will react. What I'm about to say is completely the truth. No matter your reaction, I will be thouroughly shocked. And lastly, are you ready to hear this?"
"I believe you will never lie to me and not only because you are demon, because I trust you. I think I'm ready." He looked me in the eyes and grabbed both of my hands.
"I am the Sebastian that was with you in the park. I am your fíance. I told the doctor to tell you I didn't remember you because I couldn't face you after I failed to protect you. I absolutely cannot believe you kept the ring I gave you after I abandoned you. Your smile is what I have always loved most about you. Guilt has gnawed at me for two whole years. I am so sorry that I was such a coward." All this was such a shock yet it seemed to all fit. I still needed some sort of evidence though.
