Chapter 8

Lucifer's POV

I swore to myself that I would protect her even if it meant death . I knew that inviting Myra was a bad idea but I need all the help I can get .Myra is still a broken hearted girl I understand that but I made the decision I made because that's what I felt was right .

Centuries ago me and Myra were a very powerful couple before I was sent to hell . I loved her so much and everything was great for us . We made an oath and vowed to always there for each other no matter what. That all changed when I became ruler of hell . I couldn't manage souls and at the same time her .

She became noisy begging for my attention so I decided to let her go so she could someone who would make her happy . She was hurt and to this day the wound never healed. I was planning on telling Alex everything from Myra to her curse of being the Empress. But I love her so much and it hurts to not physically be able to express my love to her .

I looked for her everywhere . Nick used his speed and the scent to track her down . We rushed into the middle of the forest at a river but there was no one there .

"She was her....." Nick said as he felt the ground.

"But where the hell is she ? What if she is danger as we speak ?" I said worried.

"Don't worry Luci we will find her " my baby sister said as she placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Bad news guys.....a wolf was here ...I can smell a wet dog smell " Nick said as brushed his nose. I began to panic . The wolves has gotten to Alex and it was all my fault .If anyone is to be blamed for the death of Alex it's me .

Alex's POV

"Come let me take you to my cabin" Logan said as he stood up and offered me his hand. I took his hand and stood up. He was so nice to me .

"Have ever rode on a wolf before?" He smirked and I shook my head. He smiled and before my very eyes he transformed into a massive wolf .

"Get on" I heard his voice in my head . Fuck so not only do I have super speed but I also can read minds now . That's creepy getting into people's minds , getting to know what they thinking of u and their business that's jus wrong.

I got on and he began to ran deeper into the forest . It felt so amazing and scary at the same time as the wind blew into my hair as I strongly grabbed his fur tight. We stopped at an old wooden cabin and I got off and he transformed back into his human form . He was naked . My eyes popped out of my socket as I looked away.

"What ? Do expect me my clothes to to be okay after changing into a huge dog " he laughed as he walked into the cabin . I followed him in and he wore a short . It was a small place with fire burning on the fire place. It only had one couch for only two people . He sat there.

"Sit" he said and I sat next to him .

"Now tell me what's ur story. Why is a beautiful girl like you doing in the middle of the woods at this time of the night ?" He asked . I didn't want to talk about it honestly but he has been so nice to me .

"Well, let's say I found out something big about me , turns the person I cared for is hiding things from and my aunt was murdered. I jus ran away " I blurted out .

"I'm so sorry to hear that Alex " he said and wrapped his hands around me .

"You can't run away from your problems forever but until u ready ,okay ?" He said and I nodded . He made me rest my head on his chest as I felt his hot body. We sat like that and I heard a knock on the door.

"Stay here" he said and went outside. I sat there wandering what was happening.

Logan's POV

I found the most beautiful girl in the forest alone and decided to give her a place to stay for the night . I'm wolf who isn't so much into living as a pack so I live alone. I had a knock and it was my elder brother Ricardo and his idiot guard Ryan.

"What a surprise to get a visit from the Alpha" I said .

"I'm not hear for your childish games Logan where is the girl ?" He said and I was puzzled .

"What girl?"

"Don't play dumb with me I know.u have the Empress in your house " he growled.

"Are you on drugs Ricardo? Cause the last i checked the Empress died centuries ago" I chuckled.

"The girl you are with is the Descendant of Diana . She is the Empress now . Jus let us take her" he said with a stern voice.

I couldn't believe it. That's what she was talking about . People wanting to kill her .

"I will not let you kill that girl. She is innocent" I growled and he stepped closer to me .

"I am your Alpha I am your leader and my word is final . Give me the girl or consider yourself out of the pack" he growled back.

As wolves it is within our blood to obey and respect the Alpha no matter what . I didn't want to but I had no choice.

"Fine , but I will come with you for her to feel safe " I said.

Ricardo rolled his eyes and nodded. Ryan went inside the house and grabbed her . She came with worried eyes .

"Logan what the hell is happening ?" Alex asked .

"Please it's okay his my brother trust him " i lied . We went to his mansion . Alex cried . It was as if she knew what was happening. Ryan locked her up in a room. I was hurt . I sat on the door .

"Logan I know your brother wants to kill me and u let him take me . I'm telepathic I can read minds " she sobbed on the door. What have I done?
