Narrator - Meladia's POV:

The table was bustling with chatter and laughter with the lot of them engaged in lively conversation, talking about anything from school, to work, to relationships, at which Bill spoke up that he had an announcement to make at the end of the dinner.

"We'd really like to wait until everyone is 'ere." Fleur sweetly spoke up after Bill, gazing at her lover with sparkles in her eyes.

"Wonder what that's about." Fred snorted to his twin brother unconsciously loud enough that Mel could hear. She watched out the corner of her eye as George looked up from his food and to the blonde haired girl who spoke.

Idk yet

Meladia turned away from the boys in front of her and to the furthest corner of the table where she noticed a usually cheery Ron, stabbing at his broccoli and not making eye contact with anyone but the clock he seemed to have been checking all night.

"Look mate" Fred started, unthinkably loud once more, "what do you say we get a drink tonight?"

"Yeah?" George replied, chuckling. "And how do you reckon we'll get out of this?"

"Watch and learn" Fred said before clearing his throat, quieting the whole table almost immediately. "Sorry to intrude on what I'm sure was great conversation, but George and I have got to run to the shop, erm- faxing error for new shipments"

"There is no way they're believing this." Mel thought to herself, letting out a scoff at his words which garnered a look from both of the brothers.

"That's alright dear, just don't be out too late" Molly replied to his dull-witted lie before turning back to her conversation along with everyone else.

"and what were you scoffing at, may I ask." Fred asked almost immediately, acting dumbfounded.

"It was more judging than scoffing" she replied.
"And why is that?" the ginger asked, smirking.
"I just think leaving right now wouldn't be very housewarming to your guests"

"Like you've ever failed to make yourself comfortable in the past" George muttered from beside his brother.

She wanted to say something back, but he was right. She'd been coming to the burrow since her 2nd year, and everytime she came it was the same, she'd sleep in Ginny or Ron's room, shower in their bathroom, help make meals, do chores, just anything there was to be done. What she didn't understand was if George's comment was taking a jab at her sleeping arrangements or her presence in the Weasley household as a whole.

Before she could reply, the dinner was interrupted by a loud knock at the door.

With a loud stumble, Ron stood up from the end of the table, causing everyone to turn their heads his way. "Um- i'll get the door." He said nervously, eyeing the door that he began to walk towards at an alarmingly fast pace towards.

He swung the door open rather forcibly and there she stood, with a simple bag slung over her shoulder and her wand in hand.

Hermione.

Ron let out a loud sigh of relief as he pulled her into him and held her against him tightly, completely forgetting that he had all eyes on him from the table behind.
"Ron-" Hermione spoke sweetly before tapping him on the shoulder and whispering something into his ear.
Ron immediately turned around, facing everyone who now beared questionable, yet approving looks on their faces.

"So glad to see you dear!" Molly got up from her seat, attempting to diffuse the tension before making her way over to Hermione who she hugged dearly, the attention becoming diverted from Ronald's bold public affection, with the greetings from seated order members, and of course, Ginny and Mel who raced over to their friend and hugged her even tighter than Ron, overwhelming her with "are you okays" and expressing how worried they'd been about her.
