I mostly got shit done, cleaned the house, bought more stuff for the kids, and made a couple of drops. Niko always liked the bloody parts of the job so I did drops more.
I was never fond of blood and I'm still not. The problems you gotta go through to get rid of it and how it smells is too much.
It would be annoying to come back home and the kids notice some blood on me, stressing them out about what I do wouldn't be good.
Providing for them is my job and taking care of them, I rather struggle for them to have a better life than them struggling instead.
My oldest just turned 10 not too long ago so she's in 5th grade right now. The teachers emailed me about pushing her up a grade, her reading and math skills were way higher than the others.

I could see her in a couple of years graduating and getting a full ride to college. Job opportunities opening up for her and enough money to take care of her and Timmy when I'm gone.
Snapping out of my thoughts, I raised my head back up from the couch cushions and pulled my phone out.
There wasn't an ID name so I ignored it because it might've been scam likely. I got up from the couch and headed over to the bathroom.
After using the bathroom, I washed my hands and walked back to the couch. The phone was still ringing so I picked it up and answered the phone.
The other line was quiet so I spoke and said hello. They still didn't say anything so I hung up.
" Must've called the wrong person" I mumbled to myself closing the phone and looking back up to the T.V. Not a minute later, I get a notification. It was a text message by the same number that called.
