Roller Skating - Chapter 6 - Part 1 of 2

(Chloe's POV)
The first thing I did today was wake up to my alarm all jolly and excited I couldn't wait for Daniel to get me. I started of the day with a nice long warm bath not forgetting to open Spotify to listen to my favourite playlist. Nothing and absolutely nothing could ruin today I thought to myself.

(Daniel's POV)
I was so excited for today I took a quick shower and had breakfast faster than I thought I would I didn't realise how excited I looked until my mother told me.
"Dear, don't you think your to excited for a normal day."
"Not at all mother, I'm just going to go out for the day, I haven't done that in a while.", I said calmly.
"Okay Daniel, with anyone particularly?", she asked curiously eyeing me to spot a lie.
I replied with, "Well that doesn't concern you for now."
She looked at me but I can tell she was disappointed that I wasn't telling her everything.
I got up rudely and muttered a thank you. I didn't want to tell her about Chloe yet, I was scared she would question me more and want to meet her, I knew me and Chloe were both not ready for that.

(Chloe's POV)
As soon as I dried myself I started on my makeup, I didn't want to overdo it so I put on blusher, which made my cheeks look rosy, then I added on some mascara not to much, not to less, just perfect. As soon as I was pleased with my makeup look I started on my hair, I added some product that would define my curls and them swiftly put it in a messy bun, additionally leaving two front pieces of curls out so that my face would be perfectly framed. I admired myself in front of my large mirror, my mom would be so happy to see me like this, would my dad, would he be proud or upset? These thoughts started consuming me but I wouldn't let a perfect day get ruined because of him, as I though that I was done, I realised the most important part of today. My outfit. How could I forget? I slowly put on my baby blue top and grey sweatpants, as well as matching Nikes. It was almost 2 o'clock, I took my keys, locked the door shut and then I screamed.

(Daniel's POV)
I quickly put on my clothes, shoes and my signature cologne. I took a deep breath, got the spare key and left my house. I didn't tell my mother that I had left or when I will be back but she didn't seem to care. I was probably overreacting. As I started my car towards Chloe's apartment I hoped that she liked my surprise and enjoys today. After I good couple of minutes I was here, finally it felt like eternity. Nothing and absolutely nothing could ruin today. I saw her leaving locking her door, it looked like she dropped her phone, as she bent down to pick it up I couldn't stop staring. I kept telling myself Daniel you're a good boy, who's a good boy Daniel is a good boy, I started sweating for no particular reason. I decided to be a gentleman and left the car parked towards the side. I don't think Chloe realised I was approaching her, I put a hand on her shoulder and she screamed and proceeded to push me back but her strength was no where near enough. She looked at me and suddenly hugged me. I was shocked to say the least but melted into the hug after a few seconds.

(Chloe's POV)
I felt someone touch my shoulder so I screamed and tried to push whoever was behind me back ,when I realised that I had failed I turned to look up at him trembling, and hugged him. I was so scared someone was going to kidnap me. I think he was shocked at first but then returned the gesture so I said quietly,
"I thought you were a stranger and was going to kidnap me and hold me hostage forever.", I muttered into his shirt while smelling his signature cologne.
He rubbed my back as he replied softly, "No-one will lay a hand on you while I am still here, and that's a promise."
I slowly nod, and start smiling.
"So where are we going.", I asked a little to excited.
We started walking towards the car as he smiled and said,
"Looks like someone is excited."
I just giggled.
I was about to open the car door until someone beat me to it.

(Daniel's POV)
Chloe was about to open the car door but I acted fast and opened it for her saying, "Lady's first."
She replied with, "What a gentleman." And softly giggled.
I adored her giggle, it was so cute, sweet and short.
We both adjusted our seatbelts as she asked me curiously.
"Where are we going Daniel?"
"That's for me to know and for you to find out." I stated as I bopped her nose.
She huffed and crossed her arms like a 3-year-old. After a few seconds we both startled laughing until we were out of breath. We were almost there, 30 minutes had past of talking and occasionally joking around. I was having the time of my life.

(Chloe's POV)
I was having the time of my life, I thought to myself. Daniel told me we where almost there. I wondered where there was until he opened some old school music, I could tell he was worried I wouldn't like it, so I turned it up to full volume. Which we both started singing, screaming and dancing to, it was chaotic. But I was sure we both enjoyed it until he parked along the pavement and turned the car off. I took my seatbelt off and made sure I had all my belongings when I realised my door was open with Daniel smiling as put a hand in front to take me out, which I gladly accepted.

(Daniel's POV)
I stared at her in awe. I realised that we had a 10 cm difference which looked pretty cute. She looked so beautiful I think she noticed me staring and put a hand through my arm in a friendly manner and started asking questions like
"Where are we going?"
"How long?"
"Are we there yet?"
I chuckled and simply told her,
"Almost."
*Time Skip*
(Chloe's POV)
I squealed. It was a roller rink. I was so shocked no one had ever made an effort to take me here before I looked up at Daniel and he chuckled. I started dragging him inside, he was smiling. We made it to the reception.

(Daniel's POV)
She looked so happy which made me happy. She dragged me to the reception and couldn't contain herself. As always we were met with an annoying receptionist. She eyed me and Chloe in a rude manner. Chloe didn't seem to care less she was way to excited about roller skating i believe it will be her first time by her reaction, so I chuckled without realising and the lady at the reception cleared her throat and asked, "Hello welcome to he Local Roller Rink, how may I help?"
I wasn't pleased with the way she asked so I replied with, "Reservation for Daniel LaRusso, 2.30, size 7."
Then the lady proceeded to say, "And your girlfriend."
I chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of my neck, why did she think that?
"She's not my girlfriend.", I replied my voice came of a little sad than I had expected it to.
The lady muttered something and Chloe sweetly said, "Size 5.5 please."
The lady nodded and went out to get the pairs of roller skates.
Then it dawned on me, we were holding hands. Oh.
The lady brought the pair roller skates and put it on the desk while giving us a wristband, one for each.
"Make sure to wear them during your visit.", she said again not in a very kind manner.
As I took both pair of roller skates I started to leave, I swear I heard the lady mutter something but I didn't question.

(The receptionist's POV)
"Young lovers.", I muttered. "Completely clueless and completely oblivious." I shook my head and got back to work.

(Chloe's POV)
I admit the receptionist was a little rude, but I wouldn't let that ruin my day. Nothing could ruin today.

(Daniel's POV)
I looked at Chloe and thought, "Nothing could ruin today."
