Sorrow {h.s} (ON HOLD)

I walk to the dining room as I hear the stomps of Eli's feet following me. "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!" he screams. "P-please Eli, I didn't mean to make you upset, he's just a f-friend!". I try to convince him, but it doesn't work. He slaps me across the face so hard i trip over the chair i was using for support and land on the dining room table. "Eli please!" I shout, holding my cheek. He goes in for another hit but i dodge it. "YOU CHEAP WHORE" he shouts at me, and then i hear the front door slam and the house shakes.

I need to get out. I don't know where but i just can't stay here. I grab my purse and put on some makeup over the spot i know will bruise. I wince at the soreness when I touch it. I throw my grey sneakers on and hurry out the door.

As i walk on the sidewalk, I hear shaking in the bushes, but see nothing. I hear it a couple more times, but then it goes silent. I choose to ignore it and keep walking. I open the door to my favorite coffee shop and take in the scent "Ahhh, home sweet home." I whisper to myself with a smile. I always love coming here, it brings me peace, the smell of fresh coffee beans, the sounds of people talking, I love it all.

I finish my coffee and leave the shop, listening to the bells on the door make their signature dinging sounds. I decide to take the long way home, scared of what could happen when I get there. I begin walking, admiring all the city lights as the sun has already set. I hear the sounds of crickets chirping, trees rustling, wait......that was trees wasn't it? I start hearing loud footsteps behind me. "Sounds like men's boots..." I think to myself. They begin to get closer. I pick up my pace and keep going. Then out of nowhere a hand snaps to my mouth.

I try to scream but my head feels heavy. "uh uh uh princess" the deep mysterious voice tisks at me. "W-who are you?" a barely choke out. "You'll figure out soon enough." he says sternly. He puts his lips right next to my ear and whispers "Welcome to the family, Audrey"

Then everything went black
