small amounts of PROFANITY

________________________

you smiled in content as your music played while the pink-ish clouds rolled past the evening sunset. birds flew above you while gliding along with the soft breeze that swirled around. everything was beautiful and peaceful at that moment. but, everything must come to an end...

a small tap on your shoulder brought you out of your wonderful trance, "[n/n]"

sighing, you paused your playlist and took your earbuds out. giving a small hum you turned your head to find [l/n], naomii, "what'cha need?"

"mama said to come inside. they want to spend some time with you before you leave," the white-ette informed.

you stood up giving one last glance at the sunset. you then looked towards your sister and smiled at her, "ok, let's go."

you both made your way over to the terrace door, opening it and making your way down the many stairs. 40...39....38...counting each floor till you made it too your own was a habit. always making sure you didn't end up knocking on someone else's door and making a fool of yourself. 32...31...30...29! quietly running down the hall with your younger sister trailing behind, you swiftly stopped when you saw your family's apartment. you knocked three times, awaiting for your parents arrival at the door.

a "can i help you,' was heard on the opposite of the door. you and your sister looked at eachother and gave a quick eye roll.

"okaa-san, oyaji, i don't think this is a good time to play this. we'll lose valuable time with onee-san," naomii stated.

without wasting a second your parents swiftly opened the door, both yanking you and your sister inside. the two of you stared at your parents with shock but, a second later you were all giggling.

after you all finished with the goofy moment your mother spoke up, "come on you two, we should eat something now, so we can party and giggle after." you both nodded and made your way to the short legged table that sat in the dining room. You quickly noticed the maki sushi rolls that sat in the middle of the table. As well as your family's teapot that was passed down from generation to generation. You all sat down on the zaius and quietly prepared your plates. Once set up you gave a thanks prayer. Somehow you and your sister picked up the chopsticks at the same time and attempted to grab the same sushi, which failed miserably. You both looked at eachother and giggled loudly.

"it's amazing how in sync you two can be ," your father piped up. he then gave a quick glance towards your mother, who was nodding.

"ah, maybe we're twins in another dimension," you joked as you picked up a sushi roll.

"nah, we're totally different. i wouldn't want to go to japan, i'm too chicken for that," naomii said before stuffing the sushi roll in her mouth.

you looked at your sister with solemn eyes. "hey, you are not a chicken... you're a raven and, just because i'm going to japan doesn't mean i'm not scared," you smiled slightly.

"yeah.... anyway, who made the sushi? it doesn't taste like you or oyaji's cooking" naomii tilted her head towards her mother.

"oh, while we went out today we stopped by obā-san's shop. so she gave these to us," your mother told. "she honestly wishes you wouldn't go but, she still respects your decision and choices."

the table was silent for a second until you reached for another sushi. you quickly stuffed it in your mouth. "wellf, i'm fure gonna miff fer coofing," you trilled.

your father gave a small playful glare "don't speak with your mouth full, it's gross." you, naomii and, your mother snickered. you then took a glance towards the teapot that sat next to the sushi. how could I forget about that.
