Melody woke up to beeping in the hospital.
"Ms Graves how you feeling" the nurse asked her checking the monitor.
"Good I guess. What happened" she asked and tried to set up.
"Umm... you apparently were shot three times." She said looking at the chart.
Melody squinted her eyes to adjust to the light.
"Do you remember anything about what happened? Even the slightest idea" she asked and grabbed the clipboard incase she did.
"Not really I just remember that I was on the roof and I blacked out" Melody said.
"Well the detectives want to ask you a few questions" the nurse said and walked out.
Two detectives walked in.
"Ms. Graves I'm Detective Griffin and this is Detective Dean we just have a few questions for you."
"Can you tell us about the incident that occurred last night" Detective Dean asked.
"Like I told the nurse I don't know anything" Melody said dismissing the conversation.
"So the name Santana White doesn't ring a bell" he asked and her body tensed up.
"Nope" she said.
"We have a witness saying that you and Mr. White were on the rooftop" Detective Griffin said.
"Look my name Bennett and I ain't in it" she said.
"Oh so we 1st graders now" Detective Griffin asked.
"Yep" she said.
"Well I see that you know nothing. If you see or hear anything give us a call" Dean said and handed her a card which she threw on the floor once they left.

"Aye" I heard the doctor say.
"Oh hey doc. When you think I could leave?" I asked him as he read my file.
