It's been two weeks since first coming here. Nothing as gotten better. The only new thing was the two new members. Timothy and Emily. Emily had strong opinions and kept to them. Timothy cared for her deeply even though they had just met. Love at first sight I guess.
"Y/N your hair is atrocious. You should let me fix it for you" Mr.Gallant expressed to me.
"If you touch her rats nest hair, you won't be touching mine" Coco complained.
"It's fine. I don't want whatever is in her hair in mine. It's a nice offer though" I told them. I turned facing Mallory to roll my eyes.
She had laughed causing her to be questioned By Coco. I silently apologized. Mallory was the only person I really connected with. Something just brought us together.
Later for dinner we sat at the table holding a small chat when The higher staff walked in holding a machine. Radioactive check. They brought the wand around us checking each. Stu was pulled along with Mr.Gallant.
I was extremely glad I didn't have him touch my hair. Even though Coco was announced clean I bet she has something in her hair. We finished the oh so tasty cubes then spent time trying to find something to do.
I took this time to start exercising. Doing nothing all day can do a lot on muscles. I did workouts and yoga. I even started meditating to help with stress when people got annoying.
I started wandering around more and more testing my limits. We weren't told we couldn't go to certain places but you knew they were off limits when guards stood near. Today after exercising I went down some stairs to possibly a basement? We're already underground.
I didn't know what to call it. The only thing lighting up the room was my candle. I stumbled around unseen things many times until I found a chest. Inside it held silks and and a hoop and other things. What kind of school was this?

I grabbed whatever they were. When I lifted the silk out, a handbook on what it was, was at the bottom. I snatched it up too and snuck out. I looked around every corner. I finally made it to my room in caught but almost. Mead came knocking and I slid it under the bed.
"Lights out in 10" she announced passing by.
I reached under and grabbed the book. It was titled "Ariel skills". The silk was an Ariel silk and the hoop an Ariel hoop. I've seen these in circuses before. They are amazing. I looked up and realized there would be enough room to put one up. But what if Venable came in.
Something whispered into my brain on what to do. I grabbed the other tools and placed them on how they go. Once I finished it, I pulled on it to make sure it wouldn't fall. When I was sure it wouldn't I thought on how I did this without any disturbances. I was unsure how.
I also wondered why this would be in a boy school. Not because boys but because it was a school. Underground. Maybe it was a circus school for boys but people made fun of them so they went underground. Yea that's it.
I was to tired to try it out so I was quickly in bed. A new thing I can use to pass time. The handbook held basic tricks in it. For both the silk and hoop. I was glad I was flexible. I rested my head on the pillow and fell asleep.
A cane knock awoke me every morning. When it did I immediately got dressed and went for breakfast. I was quickly back to my room, in a hurry of excitement to try it out. Working out really paid off. I switched into shorts and a tank top I hid in my suitcase but wasn't allowed to wear for it was "inappropriate".
I held a silk in each hand and pulled up. I found out if I was strong enough to do anything. I looked at the handbook to begin the first trick. I spent all day in my room accomplishing these skills. By dinner time I was wore out and ready to eat the tasteless cube. I hurried to fix my hair and was downstairs in a jiffy ready to eat.
"Where have you been all day" Whispered Mallory handing me a plate.
"In my room reading" I responded knowing it wasn't a lie but not the full truth.
We finished dinner and I stayed in the main room with the others. We listened to the song "take me to church".
"Ugh this song isn't making me want to go to church!" Coco shouted
"Darling it's an amazing song" Evie spoke
While they were in a argument the radio stopped.
"Shut up" I yelled, "the song stopped"
"Here comes the sun " began playing.
"What the hell does that mean. It hasn't changed in 2 weeks" mr gallant said
