After the music stopped you and Draco kept on staring at each other and couldn't take your eyes off of each other almost as if it would hurt to. Your eyes lost each other when you heard clapping from everyone around you. You are the type of person who doesn't like attention. “Um… Thank you for the dance but I need to go.” When you turned around you felt a hand on your shoulder. It was Draco's hand. “Where do you think you're going? The dance isn't over yet. Let’s go get drinks.” “No I really must get going.” “No you don't you're coming with me. Let's go” You mumbled a fine and followed him.

“So tell me about yourself.” Draco said “Well there's not much to know. Umm…. I was born and raised in London. I have an older sister,but she's not here.” “Oh a sister ok. I'm an only child. I'm guessing you dont know what it's like being lonely.” “Actually I do know what it's like being lonely. My sister and I aren't close as some would say. SO yeah i'm kinda lonely. And my mum at work all day. It gets lonely.” “WHat about your father?” “My father um.. He passed a couple years ago when my sister and I drifted apart. Enough about me, what about you Draco Malfoy.” “Um.. only child. Born and raised in London. Good relationship with my mother, not my father. And yeah that is it.” “Huh.” “WHat do you mean ‘huh’?” “Nothing, nothing at all.” “Well here are the drinks i’ll get you one. Don’t move.” Draco said, “Don’t worry i’m not planning on going anywhere.” When Draco left you felt a hand tap on your shoulder. You turned around to see this girl who had horrible hair and had a face like a ugly pug. “Is there something I can do for you?” “Yeah! Stay away from Draco/ HES MINE!!!” “Oh i'm sorry I didn't know he was your boyfriend. But you should know I don’t take orders from pug faces. And your ‘boyfriend’ wanted to dance with me.” “DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHO I AM!!!! I ORDER YOU TO STOP TALKING TO ME LIKE THAT THIS INSTANT!” Everyone in the Great Hall was looking at you at this point. “You order me? You order me! I order you to turn your arse around before I ruin that already ruined pug face of yours!” Draco comes up behind you and asks. “What’s going on over here?” Before you could even speak Pansy speaks up and says “Draciepoo this girl was being rude to me.” “Oh shut up! You walked over here telling me to stay away from Draco because he’s ‘yours’. Then you started ordering me around. Sorry I didn’t know that Draco was your boyfriend.” Draco stepped in right when you said boyfriend. “Boyfriend? Pansy, I'm not your boyfriend and I'm most certainly not yours, nor are you my girlfriend or mine.” “But Dracie you're not going to let her talk to me like that. Right?” “I don't care how she talks to you. For all I care she yells and screams at you.” Pansy ran away crying. “I’m so sorry about that. She’s been so obsessed with me since the 1st year.” “It's alright Draco. It wasn't your fault. And wow that must be really annoying having someone like that obsessed with you.” “Yeah it is. But here's your drink.” “Oh, thank you.” As you were drinking what Draco gave you you noticed him staring at you smirking. “What?” “Nothing, you're just beautiful.” you blush very hard. “Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself.” “So do you have a special someone.” “What do you mean ‘a special someone’?” “You know a boyfriend. What i’m trying to ask is, do you have a boyfriend?” His face kind of tensed up and was looking at you as if he was hoping you'd say no “No.” you say and kinda laugh at the way he losenes up and has a relieved look on his face “What! How come a pretty girl like you doesn't have a boyfriend? I mean if i were to choose between any girl at Hogwarts and you I would choose you.” “Well thank you. But from where I'm from the boys think I'm weird.” “Well keep being weird it's a cute look on you.” He says with a wink. Butterflies erupt in your stomach and you blush like REALLY hard. “Thank you.” Is all you seem to be able to get out.

It's kind of silent between you two for a little while until you finally speak up. “This music is kind of boring. Don't you think?” “Oh yeah most definitely.” “Ok I'll be right back.” And with that you ran away to the musicians. “Hi! Do you guys have a speaker I could borrow?” “Yes we just got it today from a muggle shop.” “Great thank you.” You started playing some pop songs you like. The first song is '' Hips Don't Lie by Shakira. You come back to Draco. “Hey come on let's go to the dance floor. I think you'll like this song.” “Alright.” Draco agress and follows you to the dance floor. 

Draco POV:

When I'm watching Y/N dance she looks so happy. I've never seen someone prettier than her before tonight. I really am shocked that she has never had a boyfriend before. I’m not one who does relationships. I just do a quick fuck and never talk to them again. And I most definitely don't fall in love. But I think I want more than just a quick fuck with Y/N. I think I’m in love with her.
