Chapter 5

The blond haired boy looked stunned and the girl had walked away in the commotion. "Whats your name?" i asked the crying boy even though i was still blushing. "Z-Zenitsu" He said through tears.

"Well Zenitsu i'm Y/n and this is Tanjiro" I said to the crying boy, with Tanjiro blushing thinking about what he had said.

Of course we weren't actually boyfriend and girlfriend but that's just what came out of Tanjiros mouth.

We had started walking towards the direction we were originally headed before the incident with Zenitsu.

We were walking with Zenitsu behind us. Then Tanjiro took hold of my hand, "h-hey um sorry about what i said back there" he said looking down.

"No your ok tanji!" i reassured him. He gave me a smile. But of course Zenitsu kept screaming at the smallest noises so everyone time he screamed me and Tanjiro pulled out our swords and got in a fighting stance only to find out it was just Zenitsu crying over a grasshopper.

We had arrived at the mansion were our third mission took place we were standing outside when, "Tanjio, y/n whats that noise, i-it sounds like a drum" Zenitsu said. "He is right...i can hear it to and i can hear crying" i said looking to the side to find two kids hugging each other and crying.

Me and Tanjiro walked over to the kids and got down on their level only to make them back away then Tanjiro pulled out Zenitsus sparrow and showed it to them, "Ta-da see look its a friendly little sparrow!" he said smiling at them which made them calm down.

"Now that your calmed down, is this your house?" i asked them. "n-no but it belongs to a m-monster who took our brother" the little boy said.

"Can you tell us what happened exactly?"  i asked. "W-well we were walking at night with out brother then he was taken the monster didn't even look at me and her but he took our brother in there!" He said pointing to the mansion.

Then all of a sudden the door on the second floor opened and a man came flying out covered in blood, "COVER YOUR EYES" Tanjiro yelled as i ran over to aid the man.

"e-even....th-hough i m-made it o-out of that h-horrible p-place.....am i still g-going to die?" And with that those were the mans last words.

"I promise once we get out of here and kill this demon we will barry  you and all the others who's lives were taken by this monster but for now rest east" i said as i stood up, wiping a tear that rolled down my cheek.

"Zenitsu stay here with the kids, Tanji me and you will go in" i said grasping Tanjiros hand.

We had gotten to a room a very empty one perhaps, but then we heard loud footsteps. Curse good hearing in times like these, i covered my ears in pain.

"Hey it's ok i know it hurts but we have to listen for stuff to make sure theres no more demons" Tanjiro whispered as the demon stopped right in front of the door and said.

"Dam these humans, breaking into someone's home and taking my DAM FOOD!" The demon yelled, "t-the voice i-it's disturbing..." i whispered to Tanjiro.

Tanjiro had took my hand just in case because we didn't know what this demon was able to do. Then the demon hit a drum on the upper right of his body making the room we were in move around.

Good thing we were holding hands because he started hitting the drums even faster and even made claw marks come after us.

Unfortunately one of the claws hit my leg, but Tanjiro was able to cut off the demons head before it could hit me again.

Once Tanjiro killed the demon, i had fell on the floor from the room spinning. "Y/N!" i heard Tanjiro call my name and run over to me.

He was applying pressure on my leg like you were supposed to, if you got a injury from a demon. Then he had wrapped it up. "there!" Tanjiro said as i got up.

I had started walking with Tanjiro running to catch up to me but he noticed i was limping from the scar. "Here get on my back you can't walk right now" He said. "Tanji no we both have injuries i'm going to cause you more pain" i said with a smile.

"No my injuries are just a cut on my face there not as bad as yours." He said grabbing me knowing i would still decline. I blushed at this.

We were trying to find the exit well more like he was trying to find the exit until a person with a boar mask came charging at us.

Tanjiro just hit his neck which i thought was funny. We had finally found the exit. Once we walked out Zenitsu had saw me. My head was thinking, 'shit this fucking blonde bitch is about to cry.'

"Y/NNNNNN ARE YOU OKK" he said crying and running then tugging on my kimono. Tanjiro had kicked him, "look if you don't stop doing that next time it will be a broken rib you fucking asshole" It was so odd hearing Tanjiro curse but he only did when he was mad.

Then our crows flew over and said "REST! Y/N, TANJIRO, ZENITSU, AND INOSUKE RESTTT! GO TO THE WISTERIA HOUSE" then they flew off.

Inosuke? i thought who was that. "Tanji who is inosuke?" i asked. Then the guy in the boar mask came running out. "IM INOSUKE! AND YOU RED HEAD LETS FIGHT PUT THE WHORE DOWN AND LETS FIGHT!" Inosuke yelled.

I was stunned at his words. Tanjiro put me down under the tree next to us. And me and Zenitsu heard inosukes ribs crack. I flinched at the sound of it, "SHE ISN'T A WHORE YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE LIKE YOU CAN TALK ANYWAYS BECAUSE YOU HAVE A STUPID BOAR MASK ON!" Tanjiro yelled.

I started to notice whenever someone insulted me he was really angry and when i got hurt he was always so concerned and worried. Does he like me?...

Once that was done Inosuke shut up finally and Tanjiro had picked me back up making me blush again. "Thanks tanji", "anytime" he said smiling like he always was unless he was worried i was hurt.

I was actually kind of tired so i put my head on his shoulder and i could tell he was blushing, that made me smile.

We had found a house with the wisteria crest. ""Well this must be the place" i heard Tanjiro say then an older lady walked out.

"Ah you must be demon slayers come in" she led us to a room. "Here is your room call me if you need something but for now i will go fix up dinner" as she left Inosuke took the farthest bed to the left, Zenitsu took the bed next to him. Leaving me and Tanjiro next to each other but in SEPARATE beds.

After about 10 minutes the lady had came in. "Dinner is ready." She said leading us to where the food was Inosuke took of his mask and shoved food in his mouth, pft typical. Then Zenitsu sat next to him also shoving food in his mouth.

Me and Tanjiro were the only ones eating properly. After we all ate we walked back to our rooms being it was dark.

Zenitsu and Inosuke had already fallen asleep, but i had trouble trying to sleep because it was cold so i was shivering. Im guessing Tanjiro had noticed because i suddenly felt arms wrap around me.

"That better blossom?" He had said leaving me red. Not soon after that i had fell asleep still in Tanjiros arms.

The next morning i was woken up by Zenitsu screaming at Tanjiro. "HOW COME YOU GET ALL THE PRETTY GIRLS!" he kept yelling chasing Tanjiro around. I had got up and kicked Zenitsu like it was nothing i laughed at him crying.
