A few weeks later, summer break.
July 2nd
Bryce's POV
It was Monday morning. Today we would get to find out who was going home for a few days. I see Addison walk into class with mads and I head over. "Hey beauty" i say. Mads walks past us and I hug Addison. I pull away quickly, hearing the teacher coming. "Oh wow, exactly what I expected" the teacher says walking in. "Sit next to me" she whispers, pouting. I smile and bring my things to the desk beside hers.
Around 8pm
Addison's POV
We were all in the main hall waiting for the announcement. We all got our addresses and when we had to be ready by in letters that were given to us. I go to Bryce. "We have to be ready tomorrow morning" he says. We got the same address and phone number to contact, which i was guessing is my moms. I went to my dorm and bryce snuck in from the window. "Okay lets dial my moms number" i say. I take out my phone and dial her number. It rings. "Hello?" i hear her voice. I hardly remembered this voice... it made me tear up. "H-hi mom" i say. I hear her break down into tears. "I'll be meeting u tomorrow!" I say. Bryce just rubs my hand. "I cant believe im speaking to u right now..." she says. "How r u?!" I ask. "Im doing perfectly fine, now that im finally talking to u!" She says. "You'll be meeting me! Meeting me and.. bryce!" I say. "Is he there?" She asks. "Yup" i say. "Hello!" Bryce says. "Im so sorry for not being able to tell u everything earlier" she says. "Its okay, at least i know and i know someone that my mom trusted" he says. "I have a few things she left for u here" my mom says. "We cant wait to meet u" he says. "Same here" she says.

Next morning
Bryce's POV
I meet addison outside of our taxi. We say bye to our friends and put our stuff in the taxi and sit inside. We give him the address. He soon parks in front of a townhouse. We pay him and get our stuff. We walk up to the porch, and hesitantly ring the doorbell. The door slowly opens and I see... the face i hadn't seen in years. My mom. I start crying, drop the things and instantly hug her. My mom and I were both in tears. I pull away from the hug and she kisses me all over my face. She walks over to bryce and hugs him. "U two r so big now" she says. We both slightly laugh. "Come on in u guys!" She says. We walk inside and see a beautifully kept house. "How is ur health?" I ask as we sit down in the living room. "Doctors said i'll survive" she says. "Thats a good thing" bryce says. "I realized i had to complete my responsibilities" mom says. "We're in senior year, we'll be done school soon" i say. "Few more weeks" bryce says. "What r ur plans after that?" Mom asks. "I dont wanna go to college" bryce and I say causing mom to just laugh. "We've done too much school" bryce says. "As u wish!" Mom says. "Did u guys know each other in school?" She asks. "Yeah, since kindergarten, he's been stopping my way every morning since 6th grade" i say sarcastically smiling. "Liked u since then" bryce mumbles scratching his head and looking down. "Anyways.." i say. "Um bryce do u wanna see notes and voice messages ur moms left?" Mom asks. He nods and we all stand up. We walk up the stairs and she leads us into a room. We walk over to this box and when we opened it, it had some envelopes and a phone. "She left the voice notes on the phone and read the older letters before the newer ones" she says. She leaves the room leaving us just staring into the box. He picks up the 2 envelopes and checks which was the oldest. "She wrote letters... all in 2019..." i say. He nods. "All the letters were written a few months ago" he says. "May 16th, 2019" i read.

Dear Bryce,

I don't know how to get these letters to u, but i hope u get these some day. I'm admitted into the hospital because of kidney problems. I don't have much time. I was living on one kidney and now that is also being effected. I have a box of memories for you. My best friend, who i will try contacting you. If your reading this, then she managed to. If I die, make sure to listen to the voice notes. I love you Bryce. Make sure to take good decisions in life. Never let anyone know your weaknesses, because in this world they will misuse it. Don't take advantage of anyone, be a good man. Don't do anything like your father. My last wish is and all I want is for you to be a good man. I'm sorry for everything you had to see, or go through. I may not always be around you, but my blessings will be.

Bryce's POV
"I wish I could just meet her once..." i say. "Ur moms always gonna watch u, and im sure shes proud of u" addison says. "Proud of me being a fuck boy?!" I say. "Ur not only that" she says. "Ur way more than just a basic high school fuck boy, ur an amazing person Bryce" she says. She hugs me tightly. She made pain vanish. She made everything feel perfect. She is the one. "Bryce" she says. "Read the other letter" she says. I nod and reach inside to find the letter. I take the letter and open it. "May 24th, 2019" i read.

Dear Bryce
   I only have a counted amount of time left. All I want you to know is that you may not have anyone in this world, but someone you can trust is Sheri. My best friend. Her daughter, Addison, is in your school, so, you might've met her before. I can trust Sheri with my life, and I know she'll be there for you. She is your godmother. Shes the only person that i've trusted and who hasn't decided to break my trust. I don't want you being upset because i've died. Smile. Smile right now Bryce. Don't u dare be upset! Everything happens for a reason!

Addison's POV
I see Bryce smiling with tears in his eyes. I hold his face and just stare into his eyes. "Shes watching u. She's gonna watch every move of urs from heaven" i say. He just hugs me. "Thank u" he says. "For what?" I ask. "For making it easier to go through this. It isn't easy losing a loved one" he says. "If I can't do that much for someone that means everything to me, then I should be ashamed Handsome" i say kissing him. I feel him smile against my lips.
