"Honey I need your cooperation, please behave just this one. Okay?" dad with his convincing voice.
May party mamaya, engagement party ni daddy at ng kanyang girlfriend. I opposed, pero nakiusap si dad sakin. I love him, kaya pumayag nalang ako. And he's requesting na magbehave ako, uhh I can't promise him na magiging mabait ako kay Imelda lalo na sa anak niyang ngayon ko palang makikilala.
"Okay." labas sa ilong kong sagot.
"Thanks." he said smiling. He kissed me on my forehead and stormed out my room.
"Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please." Dad's voice echoed on our lawn. He's standing on the mini stage holding a microphone.
All of us gave him the attention he's asking.
"First of all, gusto kong magpasalamat sa pagdalo ninyo sa pagtitipong ito. As you all know, this is engagement party of me and my future wife. This time, I want you to meet her." he said smiling.
"Can I ask my daughter to come here with me?" dad said while looking at me.
I sighed, makikipagcooperate ako this time. Tumayo ako at naglakad papuntang mini stage.
Tumayo ako sa tabi ni dad.
"Let us welcome my future wife and daughter, Imelda and Clarisse Cortez." Nagpalakpakan ang mga tao sabay ng paglabas ng dalawang babae.
Napairap ako nang ngumiti sa akin si Imelda habang papalapit sila sa amin. As well as the girl beside her, I think that's Clarisse, Imelda's daughter.
Nang makalapit sila sa amin, she tried to make beso-beso with me but I refused in not so obvious way.
She just smiled to me and continued walking towards daddy.
Clarisse smiled at me, I replied blank expression to him that vanished her fake smile. Ha! I know that was a fake one.
Lalagpasan sana nya ako para lumapit kay daddy but my bitch side is currently switching on kaya pasimple ko syang pinatid na ikinadapa nya.
I heard different reactions from the guests who saw what happened to her.
Some are laughing, others are whispering. Dad and Imelda immediately helped Clarisse to get up.
I fake an apologetic face. "I'm sorry, napatid ka ata sa paa ko? Dapat hindi ka kasi nagsusuot ng stilletos kung di ka sanay." sabi ko. Syempre pabulong lang para siya lang ang makarinig nang makatayo siya at pumwesto sa tabi ko.
