(Y/n) Kiratsuki.
My childhood friend.
Missing without a trace. It's as if she was never here.
When the tragedy about her disappearance and her father's demise spread throughout the neighbourhood, for a while almost everyone talked about it.
Some of them sent their condolences and some placed flowers in front of the Kiratsuki household. One of them being my mom.
Even Kacchan mentioned it, he seemed pretty sad about it, though it didn't bother him as much.
When I heard that news I couldn't face myself.
I want to be a hero...I wanted to be strong for her...but I couldn't protect her..
My best friend, the person who had been with me for so long...
The person who gave me reassurance whenever I needed it.
She's still so young...
(Y/n) meant a lot to me and now she's just...gone?
To be honest I knew something was up when her father made that call , yet...I didn't do anything..it's not like I can even actually do anything for the better or worse.
I can't help but feel remorse.
What bothers me is...no one knows what happened to her or where she could have gone after that tragedy.
So..some decided to start a rumour...
Those rumours were vile, they spread like poison through the neighbourhood. Every time the kids in school brought up those rumours I immediately darted my way into the restroom, not wanting to hear the horrible things that could have happened to her. I couldn't bring myself to listen or even believe that.
It makes me sick. My best friend...being talked about like that.
