Chapter Two

As Euphoria opened her eyes after the splendid moment she had, she had a glance of someone on the deck with her. He was a boy with long soft brown hair; like a bark of an oak. His eyes were wide and gentle with dark neutrals like brown and gray. He was doing the same thing that Euphoria was doing; he was sensing the shivery air.

"I adore the nature" he said.

"Just like me" mouthed Euphoria.

"I'm Leonard Ambrose, but you can call me Leo, and you must be?" added Leonard.

"Euphoria, Euphoria Liebenberg".

The two stood there looking at the landscape with joy. Furthermore the silence embarrassed them.

"So where are you going, if I may ask?" asked Euphoria.

"I belive it's a place that goes by Elysian."

"As a matter of fact I'm going there too-, well actually moving there" mumbled Euphoria.

"I'm actually from Elysian. I stay with my mum there in summer-break. my parents split-up ever sience I was four. My father says that me and my brothers are mature enough to travel alone by train every summer, yet he never lets us travel alone, so he brings our housemaid with us" said Leonard.

"I'm sorry for your parent's" said Euphoria.

"It's alright, speaking of which I'm fourteen" added Leonard.

"I'm thirteen, I will turn fourteen on May."

The two of them keept talking till nightfall. Euphoria hardly ever found someone who is like her, so they had a wonderful talk throughout the evening.

"I believe I shall go now, its getting late."

"I believe so too. Farewell Euphoria."

Euphoria smiled as she turned away. She never had a friend like him before. As Euphoria walked down the train's passageway, eveybody looked at her as she looked glamorous in the dress she wore that day. When she was walking, she smelled like lavender's must. Not only did she catch everybodies eye's that night, but also Leonard's, she looked breathtaking.

The trip ended, and from the time that Leonard and Euphoria met, they have never met again. After that their personal driver came to take the Liebenberg's to thier home; It was a huge castle!.

The queen greeted them with delight, and the maids showed Louis and Euphoria to thier rooms.

"Is there a room for Ginger?" asked Euphoria.

"There certainly is, come here little one" babbled the maid.

Euphoria's room was sage in color. She had a shelf filled with her favorite books. The windows were wide, and the landscape from the window was even more astonishing. Her bed was soft and marvelous. The room smelled aromatic!.

She bathed, and then sat in front of her window for hours since the princess loved nature so much. While she was sitting there she heared a knock on her bedroom door.

"Come in" she shouted.

"I hope you're having a wonderful time princess, but diner has been served" murmured the maid.

"Ofcourse I am, and yes I'll be on my way to diner"

Euphoria rushed to dinner as rapidly as she could. After dinner the queen told her that there is a waterfall, it was the queens favorite place when she was around Euphoria's age. Euphoria couldn't be more excited.

It was the following day. Euphoria had slept well, she rushed to the bathroom and took a bath. After that she ate breakfast, and went to ask for the maid's assist on where the waterfall was located. Euphoria packed lunch with her in a picnic basket, and went on her adventure with Ginger. After a tiring walk they have finally reached their destination; Euphoria set the picnic blanket down, her and Ginger have sarted their thrilling picnic day!

"Here Ginger, I've got dog treats for you".

"This place is amazing" gushed Euphoria.

Euphoria found herself singing out of joy. She had an euphonious voice!. The birds were gliding on the wind; and the water was drizzling. As she sang she heard footsteps coming towards her, she stopped singing immediatly to hear where the footsteps were coming from.

"Please continue, you have a melodious voice" stuttered Leonard.

Euphoria smiled as she looked at Leonard.

"please, join us. Me and Ginger are having a picnic"

"Absolutely, hi there Ginger, this place is amazing"

"I know, thats what I said when I first came here"

"Would you like a sandwich? I made them my self" asked Euphoria.

"Oh yes, they look amazing. You live around here?" asked Leonard.

"I do actually, in the castle. My grandmother is the queen"

"Wait, really? Does that mean you're the princess of Elysian?"

"Yes, but I'm not from Elysian, I wasn't born here. You know it's not easy being royal, you have to follow rules that no one would follow only if you were a royal. You can't go out without guard's, so you get no privacy what so ever. I'm even surprised that they allowed me to go and do this picnic" stammered Euphoria.

"That sound's harsh"

"Indeed, it is. Do you also live around here?"

"Yes, I do. See that house over there, that's my mother's house" explained Leonard.

Leonard's house was white in color. There were beautiful plant's surrounding the house. It was a massive house. The house felt comfy just by looking at it.

"Your house is absolutely incredible, it's wonderful"

"Thank you, is it possible for you to continue singing, you have an angelic voice?" asked Leonard

Euphoria started singing. As Leonard was amazed by her voice, he never heard anything like it before. The two kept talking for the entire afternoon.

"This place make's me feel alive, I can not explain the nostalgia that I have when I come here" said Leonard.

"You are very alike to me Leonard. I love nature and it's fresh air, I also feel myself around here, it's just- there's something I believe that's missing in me. I just don't know or yet to know what it is" comforted Euphoria.

Leonard never knew that someone in this world would ever be like him. They met every Wednesday in the same place. they became really close that they go to each other's houses, even Ginger became friend's with Leonard's dog Henry. They loved to make picnic's, tea parties, and adventures in the forest, they also loved to study and read together. Every Friday Euphoria would go to Leonard's place and go stargazing. While Henry and Ginger become naughty boys and mess up the place.
