It was Valentine's day
The day were every couple is together and having fun,kissing,cuddling, going on trips and so much more but
Not every couple is together in this day...

Marinette and Adrien are dating for two years they defeated hawkmoth a year ago Alya and Nino knew about their identity. Marinette was all alone in this lovely day because Adrien left for a business trip so Marinette had no one in this day..... She thought she was the only one who was alone in this special day. But that will change soon.

Marinette was calmly walking around the park she was sad really sad because she saw all those couples being together and having fun together she missed him she missed Adrien so much.Marinette kept walking until she saw Nino sitting in a bench with a little box in his hand he had little tears in his face while looking at the box.

Marinette went to Nino when she was there Nino had noticed her coming towards him he whipped his tears away and looked up to her''sup dudette'' Said Nino with a fake smile.Marinette knew it was fake so she sat next to him and asked'' why were you crying and.where's Alya I thought you would spend Valentine's day together?'' Marinette asked.''yeah but she couldn't make it she's busy signing photographs for her fans since she's became a journalist she doesn't have that much time for me so I mostly spends time being alone''Nino said clearly sad Marinette heart broke into pieces she couldn't believe Alya would do that.

Marinette looked  around but then she noticed the box again'' hey what's inside that box?''.Marinette asked him. He looked at her while blushing'' uh- i- it's nothing special! It's really stupid hehe believe me....'' Nino said embarrassed
'' yeah but that's nothing compared to all stupid things that you have done in your life'' Marinette said while giggling,Nino playfully rolled his eyes '' haha very fun M at least I didn't stutter like a idiot in front of my crush'' Nino said with a smirk Marinette gasped and playfully gave him a punch on his arm'' jerk'' she said with a smirk.

''But seriously what's inside that box I'm really curious!'' Marinette said with a whine .Nino sighed and his smile faded away he opened the box with a sad face when he opened it Marinette looked confused '' a ring?'' She thought. ''A ring what's so embarrassing about that?'' Marinette asked ''well I......I was planning to make a proposal to Alya....I literally planned a date in on of the most expensive restaurant in Paris I was planning this for weeks Marinette for fucking weeks!''Nino said crying.

Marinette looked at him with a shocked face ''how can alya do something like this?!'' She thought. ''Im so sorry Nino...''Marinette said she started to cry to.''hey we could be each other Valentine's?'' Marinette said to light up the mood''what?'' Nino asked '' yeah Valentine's does have a lot of romantic stuff but Love is also about friendship right?'' Marinette said.'' Yea that's true...'' Nino said while he was whipping his tears.''but I don't think you will like it to be with some failure like me on Valentine's heh'' Nino said with pain in his voice.

''WHAT ?! NINO! You're one the most talented person I ever meet! You saved Alya without having a miraculous! You played music for everyone birthday party and you were akumazited only because you saw Adrien being sad because he wasn't allowed to have a birthday and because of you a lot of people lives are saved!'' Marinette said while holding his face with her hands.

Never has someone said something like that to him ''i-'' before he could finish Marinette stopped him'' Nino you're always in the Shadow you never get credit...how can you be okay with this?'' Marinette asked '' well I don't mind being in the Shadow or something like that I'm happy if you guys are happy even it means people will forget about me...''he said honestly.

Marinette hugged him really tight.'' Thank you Nino for everything you ever had done...'' Marinette said Nino hugged her back''always M'' he said.

The rest of the day the two friends had so much fun together they're happy they could comfort each other
Valentine's with a friend isn't really that bad as it seems
It was really a wonder.
