chapter 6: the absolute answer

I begin to cry and say very emtionally "yes I will marry you" with tears rolling down my face of happiness he takes my left hand with his right and puts the ring on my finger while still holding my hand he stands up and pulls me up gently and holds me in to him holding me close he gives me a kiss on my lips i kiss him back then hugs me tightly I still feel safe and protected in his arms as no one really knows anything about me or my childhood he knows about me just not my childhood no one knows how much of a fucked up childhood I had he says to me "we can start planning engagement party and can we invite both of your families mum and dad side" I look at him hesitantly he notices how hesitate I am about that but I say "yes we can" the reason I am hesitant about it is because truly I dont know who my biological dad is because there has been things said that the man that came into my life when I was 16 isnt actually my dad my mum cheated on my dad with some other man that is a junkie but the man who brings me up treats me like a daughter and I know him as dad and he has acted like one my mum on the other had she doesnt really act like one bringing guys in and out my life since 2 years old half of them has been abusive to but then again my mum has slapped me a few times so I am more hesitant to let my mum meet him like I dont even want anything to do with her but I have to let him meet her and her dad that has the nickname of the fat controller but I get why he is called that as the cunt is obeast and he controls people a lot,
Me and Thomas goes back to our house I call my dad up and tell him that him and the family have been invited to the engagement party he responds with "so we getting to meet the boyfriend now" I say back "yeah but he wants to meet my mum side so watch out they will be there to" dad said back "fuck that the boy must be insane wanting to meet that lot" I just laugh and say "right dad I'll speak soon as need to go call up that side and tell them give me good luck"
I hang up the phone and hesitate to call up my mum side as not spoke to them in months but I put the number in and call her up and say "you and your lot are invited to my engagement party even the fat controller" she responds with "right okay we will be there" and then she hangs up the  phone me and Thomas goes to bed as its late and we have a lot to set up in the morning for the party,

Its the next morning me and Thomas get up early its like 8am we get the gazebo up and ready as well as the drinks and the fold up table with the food on it the first family to arrive is my dad side my gran and dad come up to us and says "congrats to the pair of you we are glad you are both happy" I give my dad and gran a hug dad shakes Thomas hand and my gran gives him a hug next to arrive is that mum of mine side with her dad and sisters I just look at them and roll my eyes at them I say "everyone help yourself to the food and the drinks" after we have all had some food and a couple of drinks my mum comes up to me and said "you finally happy you have all you  want" in s snidey way I respond with "yes I have all I want and all I need he makes me the happiest and he knows how to the tell me the truth and he isn't controlling or abusive to me so of course I am happy" she turns her back to me and walks away my gran on my dad side says "why don't we all sit down and get to know him a bit"
My mum just looks at her with a dirty look along with that dad of hers I say "sure gran why not" so me, thomas and my dad with gran and mum and her dad sit down together they start asking Thomas questions just to get to know him he responds to one of the questions with the answer of "I am wanting to make Julie the happiest girl there and protect her forever I love her with my whole heart" my mum just looks at him and laughs my gran says "what you laughing at can't see your daughter happy loved and protected" she responds with "look at him saying he wants to give Julie the world she doesn't deserve to be happy" I say back "people who abuse there kids or let there man abuse there kids shouldn't be allowed to have kids" the fat controller gets up and starts to shout in my face my dad jumps in along with my uncle saying "want to get out of her face before I start laying shit down" I say to the fat controller "what you gonna do big man I didn't even want you lot here I only let you all come because Thomas wanted to meet you all but I'll see all you in court with a lovely statement for the judge on how I want no contact with you all at all fuck night even get you all jailed for that matter of fact I would he happier" I then look at my mum and follow up with "fuck didnt even want you as a mum".
