I walked into the library with draco malfoy and blaise zabini. we sat down and started to do our work, I grabbed my parchment paper and started to fill out some of the questions when draco nudged my shoulder.

"hmm?" I hummed out as I looked up to him. "pottah is staring at you again" he groaned out as he looked at harry. I slightly rubbed his arm and smiled at him "chill out draco its fine" I said. "ok, if you say so" he said as he went back to reading.

me and draco had been talking for a while, not dating just talking. but he was already so possessive that I knew I'd never actually date him.

I continued to do my work before I gazed up to look at harry. he was staring again, he didn't even look away when I noticed. he just smiled at me, which I returned

"(y/n) do you have a detention?" blaise asked "huh? oh no. I got out of it" I said with a smirk. "well thats not fair me and draco have to go in like thirty minutes to a stupid detention." blaise huffed

"yea, good luck with that" I said laughing a bit. "what are you going to do without me" draco said. I set my hand on my chest and acted dramatically "ugh I might die without you, but ill probably just stay here and finish this" I said as I gestured to my work.

"ok, won't be lonely?" draco asked "no no, ill be fine" I  said as I said as I smiled at him.

after twenty minutes draco and blaise got there stuff together and left to go get ready for their detention, I sat alone and started to work on my final piece of work.

"hey um can I sit here?" a voice said. i looked in front of me and saw harry with a book in his hand. "yea sure" I said with a smile.

"whats up?" I asked kind of confused as to why he was talking to me. "just wanted to say hi, if I'm being honest I've been meaning to talk to you for some time now" he said as he scratched the back of his neck.

"is that why you've been staring?" I asked followed by a small laugh. "uh- what?" he said taken aback. "I could feel your eyes on me, and I saw you, we made eye contact earlier" I said "oh yah. sorry about that" he said "its ok, i don't mind" I said giving him a soft smile

"um, I hate to sound rude but why are you talking to me.. I'm a slytherin" I said cautiously. "so what? slytherin or not I don't care. see i- well (y/n). um I- I like you. lots actually if I'm being honest.." he said.

I felt my heart rate pick up. the guy I had liked since first year liked me to?

"are you being for real.." I asked as I dropped my pencil "yes I'm being completely honest" he said.

for around another hour we sat there talking until we had to go back to our dorms.

after that the following three months getting to know harry was spectacular, it was hard to explain to draco what was going on but after a couple weeks of sulking we made friends again, be may not love harry but deep down draco loves me. I'm his best friend so he was so happy that I continued to be his friend.

I was wondering in the hall because I was bored. when I felt a hand pull me into a closet. I went to yell but I felt a hand on my neck and a pair of lips on my neck. "hello love" harys sweet voice hummed into my ear.

"hello harry" I said as I tuned around to face him. I placed my lips onto his and pulled away slowly. "whats up hunny" I asked as I pushed some of his hair out of his face."

"I need to tell you something" he said "but not here" he continued on. he grabbed my hand and pulled me all the way i to the gryffindor common room. "Harry why are we here" I asked with a small laugh.

"well I wanted to tell you something" I said as he sat down. I sat down next to him and layed down on his lap.

he slowly started to play with my hair making me get sleepy. "tell me what?" I asked "well you see" he said pausing for a second.

"i- I love you." he said.

"I think I've loved you for a long time but getting to know you even better than before made me truly realize" he explained. I sat up and looked into his green eyes

"harry I love you to!" I said as I kissed him. I slipped onto his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck as he placed his onto my waist.

we pulled away and I let out a small laugh. "I love you so much" I said again. as I cuddled into his arms and slowly drifted off to sleep.
