"Ahhhhh, I just wish they would kiss already," Y/N, head held in her hand, watches from the cafe counter as a couple awkwardly gives each other glances. Both are unsure who should make the first move on what is their third date.

"I think it's cute, they're both young and unsure," Y/N's coworker, Jessy, comments.

"Well if it was me I would just grab them by the face and plant a big ol' fat one on 'em," Y/N places her hands on the imaginary boyfriends cheeks and makes kissy lips at them. Having false confidence is a strength of Y/N's considering she has never been in an actual relationship before.

Jessy gives one of his infamous eye rolls, "Riiiiiight. Don't you have a final to be studying for or something?" Y/N groans, so loud a few of the customers look up from where they are reading or drinking their coffee to glare, she sends an apologetic smile towards them, "Ok well if you aren't going to study at least do something." Jessy points to where he is standing at the cash register.

"Yeah I think I'll study thanks," it's not that Y/N is a slacker she just has some problems with the cash register, it's a tricky machine. She also doesn't necessarily like talking to people, it's not that she can't just that if she can avoid it she will. She really only feels at home when she is nose deep in a book or when she is swaying to music. Plus it's the time of the night when they don't have very many costumers so Jessy can handle taking and making the orders while Y/N would go and hand them to people.

About thirty minutes into her math homework and about three problems done Jessy yells for her. She hops on the counter and gives a million watt smile, "You called?"

Without even looking up he hands her a cup and plate, "Here, take this to number six," Y/N looks around for the cute bunny drawing with a number six on it. When she does find it she notices a very blonde head sat at the table.

She walks over and taps him on the shoulder, "Here you go, your coffee and spicy muffin," he looks up at her and she is a little star struck. Y/N does have a tendency to fall in love with characters very easily but it's never really happened with a real person, at least not until right now.

The boy closes his book and gently takes the items from her as she stands still and stares. With his book closed she can read the title, "OMG! You read The Passion of a Prince too?! I love that story, my favorite part is when the prince finally figures out that he can love the commoner AND do his princely duties as long as he relies on his commanders and workers!" The boy stares at her seeming a bit mad and doesn't say anything back, "Oh shit! Did I just spoil it for you? I'm so sorry I really am, I have other recommendations just like it if you want."

The blonde still doesn't say anything and gives her a blank stare, he gestures to his hearing aids trying to get her to leave. Y/N lets out a big sigh realizing that she didn't just spoil the whole manga for him. She gives him a small smile and writes with her quirk 'I like that book too', he doesn't look impressed and just goes back to reading.

Y/N pouts a little but understands how she could have overwhelmed and bothered him when he might have just wanted peace and quiet. While continuing her homework she gets a little side tracked while drawing hearts with her quirk. Y/N's quirk is very unique, she can draw and write on the air. She can make it follow her or stay where she drew it, she can also change the color, she just imagines the color she wants before she writes. If she doesn't purposely make sure the picture stays it will fade away in about two minutes.

About an hour later she hears the door bell chime and she perks her head up too see what it is, it's the blonde boy leaving. She goes to yell thanks for coming but realizes he won't hear her since he's deaf. She gives a sad sigh.

Jessy butt bumps her, "What's wrong babes?"

"Ah it's nothing but I think I hurt a cute customer's feelings," he was really good looking too, and liked the same books she did! Guess she messed that up quick.

"I'm sure it'll be fine, a lot of people at this time get grumpy having been done with work or school," Jessy gives her a comforting look.

The last customer leaves, "Thank you for coming!" Y/N turns and looks back at Jessy, "Yeah I bet you're right."

He gives her cheek a pinch, "I'm always right. Now go clean the tables then head home, oh and switch the sign to closed on your way out." She smiles and does just that, wiping off tables and changing out of her uniform. Jessy is usually the one closing the cafe since he is in college and is a few years older than Y/N.

That night  Y/N draws a quick sketch of the stranger before passing out on her pillow after a long day of work. She wakes up regretting not saving the drawing  of the night before, already missing his handsome face.
