M I N Y O O N GI
a loud and sudden knock was heard. Yoongi sat on his bed carefully, pressing is pale hands on his eyes, cleaning the salty and burning tears away. he checked himself in the mirror quickly, right after opening the door and revealing a concerned Namjoon.
"hey." yoongi calmly said, stepping aside to let his group's leader and dear friend come in. as he did, yoongi followed him and sat on his desk, carefully skipping through his notebook while waiting for the guy to speak.
"so, I was thinking that maybe we could go watch a movie tomorrow night." namjoon finally spoke, it coming out as a faint whisper that yoongi barely heard.
yoongi chuckled ironically, placing his notebook on his desk and turning the chair to namjoon whom had a straight and clearly hopeless facial expression.
"is this your plan?" yoongi asked, nervously playing with his fingers while fighting back his tears.
he'd been trying to understand his friend's plan to cheer him up, and he felt deeply thank full. but he just wanted them to leave him alone. he was tired of having to go out and pretend he was getting better after jimin's suicide. he wasn't fine, and at least by himself he didn't need to pretend.
"what do you mean?" namjoon asked, staring at the broken one sitting in front of him.yoongi looked up, running one of his hands through his black hair.
"was it your idea to come one at the time?"
"yoongi, we just want to cheer you up. you need to start going out and eating properly." the worried guy sadly said.
yoongi could understand it, but he didn't want to deal with it. he was tired of trying to get better, and tired of trying to forget that his world didn't just broke down his feet when jimin left.
"can we talk about this tomorrow? it's pretty late, and I want to sleep." yoongi sighed, turning his chair to the desk again after his friend nodded.
namjoon stood up from the messy bed and walked towards the door, stopping on his tracks when yoongi interrupted him.
"oh, namjoon?"
"yes?" he asked back, turning around to face the shorter but older guy.
"take this. I wrote a lot today." yoongi finished, handing his notebook to him.
"some of them are not finished, but I think you and the others will like them." namjoon smiled slightly and patted yoongi's shoulder.
"I'll check them with the others." he turned his back and opened the door, stepping aside and leaving the guy alone once more.
Yoongi threw himself to his bed and finally let his tears out.
it was impressive how his mind blew away whenever he was finally left alone. standing up from his bed after what seemed to be hours but where only minutes, he grabbed a jacket and put in on, leaving his dorm without caring enough to unlock it.
he didn't plan to come back anyways.
sneaking through the back door of the hotel the members were in, he walked through the streets. glacing over at his phone, he quickly realised how late it already was. 3:56 am.
running, he reached for the nearest beach, sitting in the sand.the breeze was softly pressing against his face and making his nose turn red. his cheeks burned from the tears and quickly became like ice due to the cold.
"I miss you so much, Jimin." he sadly said, staring up at the empty and dark sky.
"I will come see you now." he smiled.
the memories of his loved one came back to him as flashbacks as he stood up, and yoongi for once felt happy.
it felt as if he could feel jimin's touch as he started walking into the ocean. it was like when he closed his eyes he could see jimin in front of him, calling him, telling him to keep walking.
it was like he was waiting for him since the day he left.the ice cold water froze yoongi's skin, but he could barely feel it.
all he felt was the pain of losing who he loved the most, and relief of finally being able to end all of that unbearable pain.
he was happy to finally finish all the suffering of living in a world where all he could think about was of why jimin never said goodbye.
4:12 am and yoongi's body was under the deep and cold water. for minutes, his body automatically tried to fight against it, but the harder he tried to get back up, the harder he drowned.
Yoongi's last thoughts where of how hard it certainly was for jimin to do the same he was doing.
the coldness of the water was easy to ignore, but the feeling of trying to not let any water get inside his mouth was what hurt.
the feeling his body automatically trying to not let him die made his head feel like it was about to explode.but then, he stopped fighting.
and it was at that moment that yoongi finally stopped feeling any pain.it was all finally over.
