"What's your name, signora?" The man asked, guarding the gate. As she glances at the man's uniform, "Il Mio nome è Francesca Balagtas.". The waves crashed as the guard gave her a dreadful grin. "A problem, signore?" she asked the guard. "Middle name?" he queried the lass "Williams. Francesca Williams Balagtas."
"Enjoy your trip, signora." He said menacingly. Francesca whispers and fronts to the ship. Things flooded her luggage. She perched on her spot on the ship, making her home to Las Islas Filipinas. Francesca's dead eyes were observing the heavy crowd.
Something appeared out of the way for Francesca. She was unarmed, nothing on her. All her things were in her suitcase. All she wanted was to go home after two decades. She nothing to combat the feeling of this offbeat feeling of hers.
The ship departed. The water diving as they get off the shore. "Ma'am, are you okay?" A sailor asked Francesca. "Hm, oh..." She felt lightheaded. She held onto the sailor and gripped on him tight "Help me please..." The sailor looked at her confused "What is wrong, signora?"
"Are you okay?" He asked. "It gets really hard to breathe..." She responded. "Kid, are you okay?" It was no longer 1896; it was 2017. She got up "My head hurts..." she rubbed her tear-stained eyes.
"Are you okay?" He asked, "I said my head hurts, Jay!" She barked at him. "Hey, hey, hey, I was asking, aight?" Whilst ruffling his brown fur, Jay sighed."What happened over there?" questioned Jay. "Some sailor asked me if I was okay. I assumed I was dreaming lucidly. It was so brilliant. The kid was out of breath, eyes open like a frog. "Putang ina..." She muttered. "Hoy, bawal 'ya ah, bata ka pa. (Hey, that's not allowed, you're too young.)" Jay cackled at her. "Gago...". "Take your lunch first, you told me you didn't eat breakfast," Jay replied. The kid nodded as she walked into the break room.
It looked as though it were a hospital, so sterile. When she went into the break room, she rocked and groaned. "Hoy, bata." a staff stated. The kid looked over into her "Yes, po?". The staff walked over to her and giving her a nasty glare "'kano? (American?)" She asked the little guy. Her head shook; she was brimming with fear. "Mute?" queried again, same response. "I'm not allowed to share my name, but you can ask Jay." So why are you working here in Laguna?" She questioned her with a cocked brow. They froze, fingers twitching and sweating. Pulse high and levels rising. "I have to go!" They squirmed and dashes to the cubicle.
