Y/n's POV

I sat on the bench, fidgeting with my fingers, trying to keep myself calm. I've only been waiting for about 5 minutes but I can say it's been the longest 5 minutes of my life.

*Flashback*

I went into the email and took a deep breath before reading it.

Hello again, Y/n.

Thank you so much for getting back to us in such short notice. I'm sorry for this late reply, my schedule was a bit too tight. We are more than willing to employ you, I've now seen some of your work and you would be perfect. If it is okay with you, I'd like to meet to discuss topics and upcoming events regarding the group you will be helping.

Since they have an urgent event coming up on Sunday, I'd like for us to meet tomorrow. It is really short notice and I apologise for this again. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you.

he sent this at 9pm when I was awake, so not wasting any time, I got back to her immediately. Sent her an email saying I'd love to meet and then she gave me the details of the time and place to meet.

*End of flashback*

Thus, here I am. Sitting on a bench across the road from a park. Waiting. I shifted in my seat and checked my watch again: 03:20pm. I shifted in my seat before I heard heels clicking against the floor. I turned around to see a woman. She looked a few centimetres taller than me, dark black hair that was in a neat bob. She was looking around, but when she saw me, she smiled.

We exchanged hellos, she sat next to me and began to tell me about what she does and who she is. "So what is the group's name?" I asked after getting all the information I needed. "Thay go by the name Enhypen. You can meet them tomorrow, if you like." She smiled at me, getting up. "I'd love to." I smiled, excited to meet them. "Great then, I'll email you the time and place." We said our goodbyes and then she left.

When I got home I had the house to myself again, Heeseung was at dance practice as always. I made a quick call to Seohyun and told her the news. Apparently she's heard of the group but hasn't looked at them or even spoke about them, all she heard was the name. By the time I finished the call it was almost 5pm.. I decided to just make ramen for supper.

"Oh your home." I said, when I heard the door open, signalling that Heeseung was home. I got no response from him. "How was practice?" I asked, turning to face him. He had an annoyed look on his face with a big of anger. He mumbled a 'fine' before going into the room and putting his bags on the floor. I decided to leave him alone for about an hour or so, watching TV while waiting. I went to him with some ramen and put it on the table next to his bed. "Thanks." He mumbled and started to eat it.

A few hours later it was almost half past 1 and Heeseung still wasn't talking. So, I grabbed my small bag with some cash in it and put on some shoes. "I'm going to grab a bite and get some boba." I said to him, he nodded and got up, walking to the kitchen. I left the house and walked down the street, stopping when I spotted a familiar patch of hair. I also recognised that small bag he had on his back.

I smiled and walked into the small store, standing behind him. From what I could tell, he was trying to choose what ice cream flavour to get. I put my head next to his shoulder and pointed at the strawberry flavoured ice cream. "This one." I said. He turned around and his eyes went wide. "Y/N!!!!" He shouted and I hushed him, giving him a hug which he happily returned. He took a step back and looked at me with his hands on my shoulders. He smiled and then pinched my cheeks. "W-what are you doing?" I said through now squished cheeks. "You look so tiny." He said, making a cute baby voice. I'm not that short. "So coooot!" He booped my nose before swinging his arm around my shoulder. "Now, let's get some ice cream."

"Okay, stay quiet and try to hurry up." He told me as he pulled open the side of the fence for me to climb through. I crouched down and slithered through the hole in the fence and he followed. He laughed when he saw the excitement in my eyes, adrenaline pumping and I had to laugh at how dumb this was.

We walked to a nearby tree and sat down next to it. He pulled out some snacks from his bag and offered me some. We sat there for about an hour, talking, laughing and what not. By the time we decided we should go, the sun was already rising. It was 4:21am.

We walked on the sidewalk, still talking about random things that came to mind, enjoying the morning. We arrived at my house and he stayed for a few minutes longer, before he left again, and soon after, I fell asleep on the couch.
