Our story begins in one chaotic town when the core 4 Elizabeth, Ruby, Toby and Tom all on a speed boat ride in the summer time, they all stopped so they could go for a swim in the lake after a few hours in the lake they all came back to shore accept for Ruby. They all got worried and started to panic because half an hour later and she still hadn't come back to shore.
"What if she is on the other side of the lake" said Toby.
"Ye she might be there , let's go and check" said Elizabeth.
10 minutes later they had walked all around the lake and no sign of Ruby so Toby called 999 and told the police everything that happened, and the police department said.
"Wait were you are, we will be as fast we can" said the police.
The 3 of them waited for the police to come, after 20 minutes the police got here, the 3 of them were all shouting telling the police what happened.
"OK one person tell me what has happened here Ok" asked the police.
"Right well we were on a speed boat ride and we decided to go for a swim and we all came back to shore accept our friend Ruby, we have looked all around the lake and no sign of her" said Tom.
The 3 of them waited there anxiously and scared think if they can't find Ruby how will we tell her parents the news. The police started to search the lake looking for ruby and nothing yet, 29 minutes had past and they hadn't found her or her body if she was dead, it started getting dark so the police stopped searching.
"Sorry we couldn't find her" said the police
"How will we tell her parents that she has gone missing" asked Elizabeth.
"We will tell the parents and don't worry" said the police.
"Ok" said Tom.
The 3 of them went back home and got into bed but couldn't get to sleep because they were so worried because they think she could be dead.
(Toby text Elizabeth)
"U awake , Can't get to sleep so worried"said Toby
"Same I am just going to try and sleep so I have energy to look all day tomorrow for Ruby" Said Elizabeth.
"Yeah ok see ya tomorrow" Said Toby.
The next day they all get up early and went and met at the lake and decided to go for a swim and try and look for Ruby in the lake but 1 hour has gone by and they couldn't find her.
"There no use we won't find" said Tom.
"Yeah we should just tell Ruby's parents" said Toby.
"Ye I am not going to tell him" said Elizabeth.
"I will tell them" said Toby
" ok let's go" Said Toby.
They set off to go and tell Ruby's parents about Ruby going missing.
(Ring the door bell)
"Hi Guys what going on and where's Ruby" asked Ruby's mum.
"Well we were out on the boat and we decided to go for a swim and she never came back to shore so we think she has gone missing but we don't know where cause the police has searched the lake and no sign of her we are really sorry mrs Smith" said Toby
"WHAT she's gone" said Mrs smith
"Ye" said Tom
"We got to find her"Said Mrs smith
"We have tried there's no sign of her" said Elizabeth
"Ok" cried Mrs smith
"We will get the police to find her no matter what but if they can't find her after 2 days then sorry she's gone" said Toby
"Ok" cried Mrs smith
Right they all went home and tried not remember what has happened to there good friend Ruby. They were all so sad and started to cry because there best friend could be dead but they don't know they wished one of them went off swimming with Ruby in the lake because If one went swimming with her then she wouldn't be missing or even worse DEAD but they tried not to think negative but it was really hard for them because they knew she is probably DEAD.
