Welcome home!

Maddie's pov:

it was the start of year 5 and there was a slight knot in my stomach. i stepped on the train after meeting up with pansy and daisy. daisy always wore her hair in cute little plates on the first day back and eyeliner she looked stunning. pansy had no time to get ready because she was partying to god knows what time in the morning.

me on the other hand had a white skirt and black jumper that hugged my figure perfectly. Considering i hadn't seen anyone since the end of year 4 i had a huge glow up and it seemed to get everyone's attention. I was wearing my stunning outfit ,my blonde hair down and eyeliner. It felt good for all eyes to be on me.

Then i saw a boy in the corner of my eye with blonde hair with the most gorgeous eyes a baby blue color that made my stomach twirl looking at them, it was Draco. Draco Malfoy. Clearly i wasn't the only one who had a glow up. He was mesmerising! I never really looked at Draco in that way before because we had always been best friends ever since i got sorted into Slytherin and my father and his became closer over the years!

"hey Madz!" its was Draco from across the carriage calling my name followed with a wink!

"hey dray! Didn't miss me too much did u?"i laughed while trying to stay cool with his gaze on me.

"I actually didn't miss u! But Mumzy really missed you!" he said as he smirked looking down!

"of course she did! Now don't lie to me dray i know u missed me!" i said while winking at him.

"Fine. I missed you a bit,but that's only cause the manor was too quiet without you!" he exclaimed with a hint of embarrassment  in his voice.

Normally i would spend the summer with Draco but my father and mother requested to see me so i had to spend summer with them. I'm not complaining i just like Draco's company a lot more. He looked more handsome then usual, god what am i saying. This is Draco Malfoy were talking about here.

I made my way back to the carriage where Pansy and Daisy were giggling about stories from their summer. I made myself comfortable by the window. Without realizing 2 tall figures had sat down in the carriage one next to me and one opposite next to Pansy.

Of course it was Blaise Zabini and none other that Draco who sat opposite me smirking."Hello boys!" Pansy said as she clung onto Draco like it was the last time she'd get to hold him! Pansy always did have a thing for Draco. I've only just realised why. She annoyed Draco when she was being a leach. He wanted space from her and would always hide behind me if she was looking for him. It made me giggle because he didn't want to be with her and she would never get the hint. But she was my best friend i felt mean to tell her. 

I fell asleep with my head on Blaise, he was one of my best friends along with the others. He is seen as rude and arrogant but once you become friends he is very sweet and caring. I was shook awake when the train came to a halt as we entered Hogwarts.

I grabbed my bag walking beside Daisy who was ramberling on about a boy she fancies. Fred Weasley. Him and her were suspiciously close last year but it was nice seeing daisy happy after Cedric Diggory her ex had died in the goblet of fire. She was so heart broken but she's doing better now.

"Earth to Madz!!" Draco said as he nudged me out of my thoughts.

"O-oh yes sorry i was just day dreaming sorry!"i stammered trying to find my words.

"Not thinking about me are you now Brown?" Draco smirked as he spoke clearly boosting his own ego.

I had a sudden urge of confidence and spoke up "Yes. I was thinking of how nice your hands would look around my neck!" i exclaimed as i walked off with a wink at Draco. He stood their in shock. I wouldn't of said that last year but this year i was gonna be the new improved Maddie Brown.

Me, Daisy and Pansy got ready for the annual welcome back party every house would do. Slytherin's ones would always be better from music choice and the drinks. I wore my hottest dress to impress him. Draco. The dress was a oyster white color which hugged my curves so nicely and made my bum look bigger it was a short dress that was almost that you could see my underwear and i wore a white pair of heels to match. I re-did my makeup and put some perfume on. I curled my hair and i was ready to go. I looked HOT!

Pansy was wearing a black sort dress with her hair straight and Daisy was wearing a pink dragon dress. She really did pull off anything. They looked gorgeous. We made our way down the stairs to the common room. As the music got louder the closer we got we entered and all eyes were on us. I felt none other than Draco's eyes on me. I turned my head to look at him and my heart fluttered. He was wearing a all black suit with his platinum blonde hair flopped in front of his face. Why was he looking so good recently. I smirked at him and then went to the drinks table to get some shots of fire wiskey with Daisy. We both had 3 shots each, the burn on the back of my throat becoming more and more bearable with every shot i took. Songs blasting in the common room i went to dance with Pansy. I slowly grinded on Pansy and she grabbed my hips controlling the rhythm. I felt myself becoming more and more drunk as we danced but i couldn't shake the feeling someone was staring at me. It wasn't until i walked over to the sofa's when i saw Malfoy. God did i wanna kiss him. No. What am i saying, probably the alchol talking.

Everyone was chatting and there was a bottle pointed directly pointed at me and i didn't realise until Draco had got up to come closer that we was playing spin the bottle. He walked over with his famous smirk on his face. I stood up to break the distance with him. Was i really about to kiss Malfoy. H grabbed my cheek and dove in smashing his lips against mine. Both moving in sync, it felt right. His lips were softer than i had imagined and then he pulled away. What just happened. I sat back down with my cheeks red. I missed his lips already. I stared over at Draco who winked at me and then scanned my body. I couldn't help but get butterflies. I had done stuff with other boys but this was different, every ravenclaw or hufflepuff i had got with was too gentle or too nervous but he has this certain type of confidence about him. 

"I'll be back!" i said a bit too loudly causing everyone to look up very quickly but then resumed with the game. I walked over to the drinks table where i got a glass of wiskey that i downed. I'm gonna feel that in the morning. I felt a hand wrap around my waist, i turned at the sudden grip on my waist and to my surprise it was Draco. He really did look good. 

"Hey gorgeous!" He said gripping me a bit tighter. I felt safe in his grasp. "Hello to you too Dray!" our faces were inches apart. What is going on. "You look good in that dress Madz!" But before i could reply he was latching onto my lips. He slipped his tongue in making the kiss more passionate by the second, god he felt good. My hands made their way to his hair while we made out in a corner of the common room with music blasting. Why haven't we done this before.

 I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Daisy. She looked like she'd had too much to drink. We broke the kiss off as i turned around spilling my wiskey a bit everywhere. 

"Daisy? Are you okay babe!" i said as i went to push her hair out her face with Draco standing right behind me with his hands still on my hips. " Can you help me Madz. I need to go to bed!" i turned to Draco and pecked his lips. "I'll see you tomorrow Dray!" he loosened his hands from my waist and spoke "goodnight gorgeous!" He smiled while i walked off butterflies irrupting in my stomach i turned and put my arm over Daisy's shoulder taking her back to our dorm. I felt Draco's eyes admire me as i walked out the party up the stairs. There was a strange tension between us both but i enjoyed it none the less but maybe it was just the alchol we had both consumed.
