May 22, 2007. :) Out of intense boredome, ideas just hit me. And this came into existence.

Feel free to comment. Anyone?

********************************************************************************************************

A couple met an accident while riding a motorboat. James, the guy, then woke up on the seashore where they left. Anne, the girl, was missing. The boatman just told James that his girlfriend suddenly disappeared when they were still at the ocean.

James was so mystified, doomed, but at the same time, hoping, that his girlfriend was still alive and it won't be long until he would find her at last.

When James got home, he told his relatives about what had happened. His parents and siblings were sad for him. Still, he told them that he believes Anne is alive but his family contradicted him. They said that he shouldn't expect of that thing anymore; it's quite impossible to occur.

James still hoped and believed that Anne is still alive, for he felt it is true. Yet, he's depressed at the same time because of the contradicting idea his relatives had given him.

Three years would pass. James was already through college, but he hasn't moved on yet with the tragic event that had happened three years ago. Within those three years, he hadn't dated with anyone else. He still thinks of the only girl he loved, even of their supposed-to-be anniversaries. James went on hoping and believing that Anne is still alive and someday she would be back in his arms once more.

Once, while he was taking a walk at the park, he accidentally bumped into a beautiful, young woman who has a great resemblance with his long-lost girlfriend. Then it dawned to him that she is Anne, for she was wearing the same locket James gave as a gift on their first anniversary. He would then talk to her, but alas, she just turned him down. The girl told him that she doesn't even know him and she's already engaged to someone else.

James was really hurt with what he had found out. He didn't expect that meeting to be unpleasant and very heart wrenching.

He became depressed again for a while, but James realized that nothing would happen if he doesn't act immediately. He went on hoping that he and his girlfriend Anne would be together again and eventually he became eager to find out what really had happened in those three years she'd been gone.

James found out that Anne's fiancé was a rich and famous young man, a doctor by profession, named Brent.

James frequently spied on the house where Anne lives with her mom. Sometimes, he would even follow her when she goes out of their house. There would be chances that he would even approach her and try to talk to her, but she would immediately turn away or just pay no attention. James would be very heartbroken every time that happens, and he felt much worse when he learned that it would be just a month before Anne would be married to her doctor-fiancé.

Less than a month before the said wedding, James went to Anne's house to pay a visit and to talk to her.

Luckily, Anne's mother wasn't in the house and miraculously, she lat James in.

When the two of them began to talk, Anne cried and cried. James didn't notice it at first because he wasn't looking at his girlfriend. He said that he thinks he doesn't have a chance with her anymore yet he would still continue loving her even when she's already married to that Brent guy. All the while, James thought she was just ignoring him; Anne was not responding. But when he got to look at her more closely, he realized that she was crying silently. Before James could continue, Anne started to speak. She apologized for what has been happening for the last few months; she didn't really mean to turn him down. It was her mother who told her not to go near James because she is getting married. Then she began to confess about what had happened a few years back, after the accident happened...

Anne just woke up lying on a bed, in some kind of a rest house and she can't remember anything. Then came an unfamiliar young man, the one who saved her from the motorboat accident and who fell in love with her immediately.

He introcuced himself as Doctor Brent de Vera, and he told Anne that her mother would arrive in just a few minutes; he had alreay contact her while she was still unconscious.

Anne's mother did come and Anne was overjoyed to see her. She remembered her mother right away, then she asked her if she could bring her home that moment.

But the mother talked to Brent first, and asked what does he want in return. Brent answered straightforwardly that he wanted to marry her daughter. The mother had nothing to do except to agree for she owe the young man her daughter's life.

Still, she gave Brent some conditions. First, he would still court Anne. And secondly, if the mother would like him, Anne and Brent would get married after the former would graduate from college.

They made that a deal. Anne, on the contrary, didn't actually conform with the said deal between her mother and Brean. However, she can't disobey her mom, so she let things happen the way her mother wanted them to be.

When the two women finally got home, Anne's mother kept the pictures of James, in case she remembers him. It's because she also doesn't want her daughter to end up with her boyfriend because for no definite reason, she disliked James ever since, although Anne doesn't really know anything about her dislike for the guy.

Brent was very eager to make Anne fall for him. The latter did, little by little, but she also felt something was wrong, that she shouldn't be falling for him. By then, she had started dreaming of this young man who was very familiar to her and she felt she had known him for a long time.

One day, Anne was looking for a dress in a closet when she accidentally knocked out on something. It turned out to be a box- a boxful of letters she have received from a boyfriend, along with some pictures, too. Anne suddenly realized that the young man in her dreams was also the one in the pictures. Then she would recollect and she would remember that he was her boyfriend. And Anne was with him before she met the dreadful accident. When she told her mother about whet she had found out, the two of them had an argument. Anne was told by her mother to forget her boyfriend now that she's getting married.

She was hurt because she had to deny herself to James when they've finally seen each other again, no matter how much she has been yearning for him.

After what Anne had relayed, James assured her that everything's fine, and he's already forgiven her for denying him. None of them really wanted it to happen that way.

The two of them agreed to elope, to leave the town and go to some other place where they can live. Somehow, Brent found out about their plan and began chasing them wherever they went. At first, they thought that he would stop them from eloping because he wanted Anne for himself. But the couple turned out to misinterpret his actions, when Brent finally got the chance to clarify himself. He told Anne and James that he was letting go of the former, realizing that she can never be happy with him, because obviously, Anne is in love with her real boyfriend. Brent loves her so much that he couldn't take seeing her sad because she was about to be taken away from the man she truly loves. So there's actually no reason for them to run away. Besides, if ever the two lovers would finally go away, they might just give heartache to their own families... Brent decided to just cancel all the wedding plans and let the two of them be.

Before he would leave them, Anne would thank him and apologize, too, for everything.

So in the end, it was still the two of them together. How happy Anne and James were. At first, Anne's mother didn't approve of it. But is there still anything she can do?

Eventually, Anne and James got married. It was, indeed, one of the happiest moments of their lives. And together, they went on, creating lasting memories, starting their own family and fulfilling their very dreams.
