Our Dresses (part Twenty One)

A/n: so there's kind of a big time skip mainly because I didn't really know what to do

Your POV

It had been a few months since the first task, Christmas was different this year. The twins, Ron and Ginny stayed at hogwarts over Christmas for the yule ball and so me, Charlie along with the other Weasleys went to my parents house for Christmas for the first time.

It was now the easter break and mine and Charlies wedding, that was taking place this July, had been fully planned out. All except for the tuxedos for Charlie and his groomsmen and the dresses for me, my bridesmaids and Emily's flower girl dress.

Today Charlie and I were back in England, to pick out those final, but major touches. Charlie was going with Arthur, his brothers, Adam and Harry. I was going with my mum, Gracie, Tonks, Ginny, Hermione, Emily and Molly.

"hey y/n I'm so excited for this, how are you doing?" Gracie asked as I approached the group, they had all met up and were meeting me outside the dress shop.

"hi I'm actually really excited to, I've been looking at dresses for months so I have an idea on what I want." I explained, pushing open the door of the shop and walking inside.

"hello welcome to Diana's dresses, I'm Katherine can I help you?" a woman from behind a counter asked cheerfully. "yes I have an appointment under y/n y/l/n." I explained with a smile.

"ah yes y/n! I've all your details here. Before we get started can I offer anyone some champagne or juice for those who aren't quite of age yet?" she asked as she stepped I front of the counter.

Everyone got their refreshments and I I introduced Katherine to everyone, "so which dress do you want to start with?" she asked.

"umm maybe the flower girl one so Emilys." I replied looking around ms as everyone nodded in agreement. "great so if you'd like to look around in this section." she began as she led us all to a part of the shop floor filled with smaller dresses.

"wow theres definitely a lot to choose from here." I laughed, taking in my surroundings, "if you want to collect your favourites then just let me know when she's ready to try them on." Katherine smiled brightly.

"okay thank you." I said as she walked away back to the register. "auntie y/n look!" Emily squealed as she took my hand and pulled me away in between the racks. "I know and guess what?" I said picking her up.

"what?" she repeated holding onto my shoulder as I placed her on my hip, "you get to pick one and wear it at uncle Charlie and I's wedding." I told the little girl whos eyes lit up and a massive smile spread across her features.

"so when you see one you like show me it and at the end you can try them all on and pick your favourite." I explained, setting her back down on the floor and she quickly ran off down the alise of clothing racks.

"y/n/n look at this one." Ginny shouted from across the room, holding up a hanger with a small white dress with diamonds all over it, "oh my godric it's gorgeous, Emily what do you think?" I asked as I made my way over to my future sister in law.

Emily ran over to join us, "it's so pretty!" she jumped up and down in delight before taking my hand, "auntie y/n come look I seen one I really like." she added, taking my hand and dragging me away from Ginny.

Emily pointing up at one of the dressings hanging on a rack in the back corner. Let me tell you this girl has taste.

It was definitely something I would've said that Emily would've picked out, "oh wow, you'd look so beautiful in that." I told her as she gleamed up at me. "I'm going to look just like a real princess." she said excitedly, "you are." I confirmed.
