The past few days nothing but Quinn had crossed Percy's mind. He didn't understand how she could have wiggled her way into such a permanent spot in his mind. The male could easily sum up their conversation and fit it in two hours.

But it never failed when he would pass her in the halls that the rest of the day would be wondering if he could get her to talk to him alone. The weekend was coming up and so was the next trip to Hogsmeade. Would it be to soon to ask her to accompany him? Would that be something she wanted?

The blonde had his mind racing through different scenarios. Sometimes he thought about just going up and saying hello other times he thought about pulling her empty an empty alcove and dipping his head under her skirt. He knew nothing personally about this girl but knew everything about her body.

At that it was decided. Potions class was up next and thanks to Professor Snape the two were still partners until end of term so that would be when he would ask her.

She was already at their table when he made his way into the classroom. His lips curved up at the thought of him being the reason she was on time for once. Percy placed his satchel against the desk and slid into his stool, already placed where his thigh easily brushed against her own.

"You busy this weekend?" His voice low as he pulled out his materials including the essay that was due today. He noted the way she tensed as if she was surprised by the question.

"I had plans with McKenna to go to Hogsmeade." His fingers twitched to uncover of face that was being hidden by her blonde hair. Her answer faulted his own mood and the small glare he sent to the brunette happened faster than he could stop it.

"You say had as in no longer?" His brain worked separate than whatever caused his poor attitude. Percy not consciously catching her use of past tense.

"She cancelled." Now it was the blonde's turn to shoot a glare at her friend, this time the brunette turned around as if she could feel it. "I can thank your brother for that."

Percy really didn't care what his brothers did as long as it didn't effect him but right now he wished he knew which brother he had to thank. "Seems like I should thank him as well. Why don't you meet me under the owlery Saturday morning?"

Before he could get an answer out of Quinn, the familiar slam of the door vibrated through the classroom.

"Essays out on your table." Snape demanded and the sound of papers shuffled filled the once chatty room. Whatever Quinn was going to say was now lost as she shuffled through her still disorganized book bag. Percy could of helped in fact he saw the familiar penmanship and title page as she shuffled through but lend back and watched.

"Don't tell me you lost it, Herrington?" His voice still low to not be heard.

She shot a glare at him this time. He quickly scanned her face noting the red that flushed her cheeks along with the slight panic in her eyes. "No, I haven't touched it since you revised it. Afraid it would burn to ash if I did." Once again the title page caught in his view but not hers. Her quiet mumbles of being screwed and dead brought a small chuckle out of him. "Shut it Weasley."

A cough woke her from the frantic search and whatever malice she had disappeared as Percy observed her reaction to Professor Snape above her. "Mr. Weasley and Miss Herrington your essays."

He held back the eye roll at the Professor's dramatic show of his hand.

"Can I have a few more seconds to find mine? I swear it's here but I just can't-"

"If you don't have it when I come to collect, you don't have it at all. Those are the rules, Miss Herrington." His jaw shifted slightly not noticeable to onlookers but enough to help hide the irritation of how she was being treated.

Quickly he picked his essay up along with her slightly wrinkled one that was under a old wrapper and book she pushed to the side. "Both essays are here Professor. Herrington just forgot she placed it on my side of the desk." The teacher took them displeased almost as though he wanted a reason to publicly scold a student.

He looked at Quinn her cheeks slowly regained their normal color as he nodded at her. She mouthed the word thank you as she cleared the desk off.

Today was slip into a lecture and prep work. Percy had already read this section of his book along with additional text in this subject. The Golpalott's Third Law was touched heavily in sixth year but this year they are to create their own antidote.

As the note writing portion slowed down and Snape seemed more interested in asking questions to students he deemed were incompetent, Percy allowed himself to steal glance at Quinn.

Her handwriting could be similar to the goblin language except that she wasn't writing in goblin language. Percy watched as her wrist would smear notes she just wrote down. I should get her some quick dry ink. The thought came quickly and shockingly he didn't hate it. Of course he shrugged it off due to him liking his partners to be clean.

That thought had him stiffen. She wasn't his partner  and he still didn't want to get into anything too serious which is why he wanted to do a discreet outing, not date an outing, with her Saturday.

Her hands stopped and Percy just now felt the eyes of his peers on him.  As his eyes raised to in front of him, they were blocked with black robes and a sneer.

"Mr. Weasley so glad for you to finally join us this evening." Sarcasm dropped out of every word, "Now what was the answer of the question I just asked." Percy rarely got called on in class, Snape enjoyed watching people stutter and with being at the top of the class, he never shown Percy any interest.

Until he was so caught up in staring at Quinn that he didn't notice Snape's sadistic grin aimed at him. "I'm sorry sir could you repeat the question?" Everyone in the class flinched at the question while Percy swore Snape smiled.

"Twenty points from Gryffindor for being to busy staring at Herrington than paying attention in class." His eyes dropped down to Quinn's paper, " And another twenty for those poor excuse of notes. No wonder you are failing."

Percy Weasley lost house points. The sharp intake of breaths from his housemates as his eyebrows squinted together, something snapped. In his seven years as a student, he never lost house points. In fact he prides himself over that, going home as Fred and George bragged about beating a personal record with zero points taken under his belt.

He felt stare without having to look at her. Quinn, the reason to a lot of things going wrong. The reason he still hasn't finished all of his homework assignments and now his lost of house points.

Quietly he ripped a piece of parchment off and pressed his quill gently to the paper.

'You owe me, Herrington. See you on Saturday at 10am. Don't be late'
