I took deep breaths. This is not how I anticipated Charlie and Harrison's first meeting to go.
To my luck, Chloe came barging in through the already open door with a fresh bouquet of red roses and yellow sunflowers and a well-rested Aaron.

"I'm here for you today, whatever you need." Chloe said smothering me into a hug. She then turned her attention to Charlie.
"Hey C!" She exclaimed giving him a hug and kissing him on the cheek. Being one of the poshest families in Oxford came with its natural etiquette expectation and manners.

"I'm here for the same reason too, how've you been chlo?" He asked bear-hugging her back.

I felt my head get dizzy and I grabbed onto the kitchen table to remind myself this wasn't a dream... all secrets we're definitely about to get spilled today.

"Okay thanks, what about you?" She asked eyeing my suspiciously.

"I'm good. Who's this?" Charlie asks gesturing towards Aaron with a nod of his head. Chloe and I had always been friends, meaning Charlie had seen us grow up, as Chloe was an only child he felt a brotherly bond with her too.

"I'm Aaron, nice to meet you." He extends a hand with a tight lipped smile, Charlie does the same. The tension in the air could be cut with a knife.

"Let's get some food? I'm thinking Tiffanys for breakfast?" Chloe asks briefly scanning the room.

"Sounds good." I croaked out.
