Camping Trip! * MHA * Bakudeku *

^ Chapter 2 ^

   Well that was interesting. I open the window to see the sun setting. I should really go to sleep early more often...I usually have a hard time waking up in the morning.. I don't really change that much when I go to sleep, so I just kept my joggers on and slipped on an All Might T-shirt and plopped on my bed. I slowly feel myself falling to sleep, dreaming about the camping trip.

I wake up to an alarming noise. "What the heck?!" I whisper-shout to myself as I get up from bed. I heard loud thuds from the stairs. I quickly rush out of my room to see my mom carrying my suitcase down the stairs, causing the thuds. "Mom, what are you doing..?" I say, while rubbing my eyes. "Oh, I just thought I would help you pack your things!" She said, while giving me a bright smile. Even with that smile, she still gives me those tense vibes from yesterday. "Thanks, but I can take care of the rest," I say. She lets go of the bag and heads off to another room to do something else. I go down the stairs to open my bag, just to see what she packed for me. Surprisingly, she packed all the good clothes that I would be wearing, but at the same time I'm surprised she didn't pack any all might merch. Oh well.

"Hey Deku, Over here!" I turn my back to see Uraraka calling me from the entrance to the dorms. "Hey Ura!" I wave, walking towards her. "Are you ready for the trip?" She asked. "I'm actually kinda nervous.." I say, looking down a bit. I forgot to say that the camping trip lasts for 4 days, so we had to pack a big amount of things with us. "Oh come on, don't be such a scaredy-cat Mido, You'll be fine!" Denki said, popping up from the back of my shoulder. "Yea, the worst thing that can happen is that villains attack us, and I highly doubt that," Kirishima added. "Well I guess you're right.." I reply, with a faint smile.

After about 20 minutes of waiting, Aizawa sensei finally showed up, along with Present Mic. To be honest, from now, It's not really a surprise that he's always late. "Alright Problem children, here's how it's going to go; since I asked a few of the students to bring their cars (Yes, in this au they drive cars :/), you will all be in groups of 4 driving together. Each car will have 4 people each, so it's easier to get to our destination. I've placed tracking devices in the cars so just in case something happens, we know where you are. I will remove the devices when we arrive. Any questions?" "Do we get to choose who rides with us?" Mina asked. "Yes, it's your responsibility to make a group of 4 to ride with you. It is also your responsibility to take all your things with you," Aizawa replied. "Anyone else?" Everyone stood silent for a moment.

"Okay, since nobody has any more questions, I will give you 5 minutes to make your groups." Aizawa says, while walking away to go talk to All Might. Great, I don't even think anyone is going to accept me with them... I turn over to Uraraka to see her in a group with Tsu, Jirou, and Momo. I was standing by myself impatient and worried. I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn back to see Kirishima. "Hey Midobro, can you be in a group with us? It's me, Denki, and Bakugo. Plus, we can get to know each other more as friends!" Kirishima asked. I had no problem being in a group with them, so I said yes.

"Hey Midoriya!" Denki said as he waved to me. Kacchan just glared at me...typical Kacchan. I waved back and as soon as everyone was situated we all got in the cars. "I call shotgun!" Denki blurted out. Kirishima was driving, so me and Kacchan had to sit in the back.

*Bakugo's POV*

It's been 1 damn hour and it was silent. Not even Dunce face said anything. "Soooo, what do u wanna talk about guys?" Shitty hair asked, without taking his eyes off the road. "I don't know, ask them," Dunce face said. "You idiot, he was asking all of us," I snapped at him. "Jeez, no need to be harsh," He said back. "Denki, no need to act like a dad just because you're sitting in the front," Kiri said. Dunce face just slouched in his chair. "How about you, mido-" Shitty hair quickly stopped his sentence. I look to the right of me to see Deku almost half asleep. "Oooooh, I have an idea," Dunce face said. "Now that's something we should be worrying about, Dunce face is trying to think," I say. "Don't waste the one other braincell you have." "Oh shut it, Explodo boy. You might like this," He said back.

Denki stuck his pointer finger out and was moving slowly towards his arm. He quickly activated his quirk and zapped Deku on his arm. Deku quickly pulled himself up, eyes wide open, and parts of his hair frizzed. Kiri and Denki started laughing their balls out, while deku was trying to control his hair. "Dude, you should see your face!" Denki said, while balling his eyes out. I'm still surprised we haven't crashed yet. The broccoli head just ignored them and listened to music. For some god damn reason, I'm getting this weird feeling around Deku - like, it gets me all tense and frozen. I don't know what this is, but I don't plan on telling anyone about it, if I don't have to.

*Deku's POV*

I'm still kind of rusty because of what Denki did to me, but I should just let it slide, It's just Denki. Although, I was kinda weirded out. Both Kiri and Denki were balling their eyes out, but I couldn't help to notice that Kacchan wasn't laughing, or telling me I'm a dimwit. I mean, I'm kind of relieved he's not pissed, but it just gives me a weird feeling that he's not insulting me.

----- 2 hours later ----

----Bakugo's POV----

I find myself lying my head on the window, my breath bouncing back at me. I try to get my phone from my lap, but I felt something else. I turn my head to see Deku laying his head on my lap, with my phone on the seat. I suddenly became flustered, and almost jumped out of my seat a little. What the f**k? Why the hell am I acting like this? Am I scared? No, am I worried? I don't know. Well, whatever this shit is, I need to find out.

"We're he-" Kiri paused as he looked at me, and back at my lap several times. Dunce face also noticed. "Awhh, that's cu-" "Don't say one damn word, I'll kill you." I threatened. "There's overprotective Bakugo for ya,"Kirishima said. "No u idiot, I said that because I don't want him to notice," I say. Dunce face gave me a non-convincing look and turned back.

----- 1 hour later-----

-----Deku's POV-----

I suddenly wake up to a thud coming from the back of the car. I raise my head up to see that the car stopped. I turned to the window to see a bunch of other cars, and woods. We must be here. I anxiously got out of the car, and found Kirishima, Kacchan, and Denki unloading the bags. "So you're finally awake, huh?" Kiri said, while handing me my bag. "How long was I asleep?" I asked them. "Probably for about half the ride," Denki replied. I wish I could say that I'm surprised. We all walked over to the entrance of the camp, which was a metal gate around 20 feet high, along with brick stands holding it from the side. We walked through the gates to see the rest of our classmates and a camping site with a bunch of tents. "Alright kids, come here," Mr. Aizawa said, as all of us gather up around him. "These are the tents you are going to me sleeping in individually. The reason why the order is split in half is because the boys get one side, and the girls get the other. Each tent has a name in front of it, if it's your name then that's your tent you will be sleeping in. Now go find your rents and settle in."

As soon as Sensei finished the orders, we all went forward to find our tents, while the girls went in a separate direction. All of the tents, boys and girls, were shaped in a circle, with an unlit campfire in the middle. "Heyo Midoriya, your tent is next to mine!" Kirishima said, as he signaled me to come. Looks like Kiri's tent is on my right, and Kacchan's tent is on my left. The tents were surprisingly big, enough to have a lot of arm space and leg space, and you can easily sit without your head touching the top. The only thing that's iconic is that my tent is green, Kirishima's tent is red, and Kacchan's tent is orange. I kinda doubt that's a coincidence. I start to unpack my sleeping bag, along with an extra pillow and blanke-. . . . I forgot my blanket :'). I checked my phone to see it was already 8:30; I totally forgot about the long trip to get here. I am still pretty tired, so I'll go to sleep early so I can wake up fresh in the morning! I suddenly heard Aizawa sensei speak in a megaphone saying we must go to sleep early so we can wake up early tomorrow. I was gonna go to Mina to get hotspot from her, but that'll just have to wait until tomorrow. I got in my sleeping bag, zippered it up, kept my lamp light ON, and dreamed about how fun, or scary this trip might be.
