She died by putting her life in a gamble. After her funeral, someone approached you and gave you an envelope that has the letter Yumeko made before the gamble that costed her life.

In order to run away, she ended her own life at the apartment you both bought together. Her mask was lying on the floor and has a letter stuck from it.
"Y/n. I'm sorry. I couldn't take it anymore. I know I could've talked with you but I'll just be an another burden to you and I don't like that. I'm sorry. Please... Take care of my mask that at least protected me for a while. I love you."
No more words needed. You just screamed, sobbed and hugged her mask.
"I... I should've noticed... I should've fucking noticed! I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."

She was burned to death. She asked you to come over to her house and play games but she just suddenly cancelled it at the last minute just when you're finally at a taxi cab. You just went home not knowing it'll be the last time you talked to her. The next morning, you just found out that her mansion was burned and all people inside it can't handle the fire. Including Runa.
Even though months have passed by, you're still blaming yourself for her death.

You bit your lip trying not to cry. You took the recorder and played it.

You lay down to her bed, hugged her pillow and started sobbing.
