Art stood at the front door as he watched Kla and Techno get into one of his car. He had offered to take Techno himself but Kla insisted on taking Techno himself.

Techno showed Kla the route back to his grandfathers home. It was quite far and the ride was quiet. Kla would keep turning his head to steal a few glances of Techno.

He hadn't noticed the entire time. When they arrived, Techno got out and walked towards the entrance. He was surprised to see Kla following him.

"You don't have to go up with me..."

"Its OK... I wanna meet your brother."

Techno turned to go up. He arrived at door and found it to be locked. He hoped that his brother was home. After a few knocks the door was opened but it was not who Techno expected to see.

"Aw Tay?"

"P' Techno... Your back." Tay was excited to see Techno. He had been staying with Technic since he left.

"Is Technic home?" Techno peeked in to check.

"Yea... His in the room... Come in while I go get him."

Techno stepped forward and Kla followed behind. He looked around and studied the room he stood in.

He looked down to the dirty sofa and torn up rug his feet stepped on. The walls wore different shades of brown and displayed cracks from head to toe. He had never stepped foot in a place like this. His eyes kept roaming until he stopped at a family photo.

The frame was held together by some duck tape and a nail in the lower left corner but the picture was shining. When studied, he found that the smiles the people wore made it beautiful.

Kengkla unknowingly let a smile creep across his face.

"What are you looking at?" Techno's confused face questioned Kla's smile.

Kengkla glanced at him before looking back to the picture. "Is that your brother?"

Techno moved his eyes to the same place. "Oh... Yes. Brother and grandfather... My family."

A sad smile appeared on Techno's face which made Kengkla's mood change. Just as he was about to step forward and wrap his arm around Techno. A door down the narrow short hall opened and Tay walked out with Technic behind him.

"Nic... I missed you so much." Techno didn't waste time and went straight to hugging his brother.

"Ahh P', I wasn't sick ... Why do you hug me so hard?"

Technic questioned before managing to pull himself out of his brother's hold. He took a step back and realized that there was one more person in the small room. "Who's this?"

Techno looked back to Kla before explaining to his brother. "Umm... This is... This is a friend."

"A friend? How come I've never seen him before?"

Techno touched the back of his neck. "Must you see every one?"

"What's his name then?"

"Well... His name is Kengkla."

Technic narrowed his eyes. "I've never heard of him..."

"Nic! I won't tell you of everything that happens in my life. He's my NEW friend so... Yea."

Kengkla tried holding a laugh back. He was amused by Techno's antic of trying to hide his new job. He was sure that he didn't feel comfortable explaining to his younger brother of how he was earning money.
