A/N: Sun/Moon.

Qrow and Clover were on vacation at a fancy hotel by the beach. Clover sits on the bed reading while Qrow was in the bathroom. The older man steps out of the bathroom in his swim trunks and sunglasses.

"I'm gonna head down to the beach. Wanna join me?" Qrow asked.

"Nah, I'm too into this book." Clover replied, not looking up from the book he was reading.

"Nerd!" Qrow snickered.

"Well, I'm going to go relax in the sun, dip my feet into the ocean...maybe have my first ever virgin piña colada...wonder what those taste like without the rum." he added grabbing a towel and slinging it over his shoulder.

"Did you remember to put on sunscreen?" Clover asked his boyfriend.

"I don't need to, I'll be fine. It's not too sunny out anyway." Qrow said putting on his flip flops.

"Honey, you gotta wear sunscreen. That pasty skin of yours will burst into flames." Clover told him.

"Don't fuss so much, I'll be fine. I'm not that delicate." Qrow said, not really listening to his boyfriend's advice.

He's about to walk out of the hotel room when Clover obnoxiously clears his throat.

"What, babe?" Qrow chuckled.

"You gotta give me a kiss before you leave." Clover answered.

Smiling and shaking his head, Qrow walks over to where Clover sat then bent down and kissed his lips.

"Okay, honey, have fun. And don't stay out in the sun for too long." Clover said ruffling Qrow's hair.

When Qrow is gone, Clover returns his attention to his book. Clover reads his book until his eyes start to burn.

"I think it's time to take a break." Clover said, putting his book down and rubbing his eyes.

He looks at his watch and realises he had been reading for four hours. He also realized that Qrow was still out.

"He must've lost track of time too." Clover said to himself.

The Ace Op was starting to get hungry, so he picks up the phone and calls room service. He also ordered something for Qrow for when he got back from the beach. Just as he was finishing up his order, Qrow walks into the room.

"Oh. My. Gods." Clover gasped, seeing that Qrow was scorching red from head to toe, except for around his eyes where his sunglasses were.

"Hey, babe...I, uh, fell asleep on the beach." Qrow grimaced.

With each step, Qrow winced and grunted in pain. Then he lays on his back, which was unburned, on the bed.

"You were right...I should've put on sunscreen." Qrow whined.

"Well, of course I'm right. I'm usually always right. You think you would've learned that by now, huh, honey?" Clover joked.

"Ahh, shut up." Qrow grumbled.

"Hang in there, baby bird, I'll go get the aloe I packed just in case something like this happened." Clover said walking over to their suitcase.

He grabs the bottle of aloe then walks back over to Qrow and sits next to him.

"Qrow, this is gonna hurt, so bear with me." Clover warned his boyfriend.

"Just get it over with." Qrow sighed.

Clover gets to work smearing the aloe on his boyfriend's sunburnt body. When it first made contact with his skin, Qrow tensed up and sucked in a harsh breath. Though, as Clover rubbed in the aloe, Qrow relaxed, feeling relief as it cooled off his heated skin.

"For how long did you fall asleep?" Clover asked.

"Well, for about two and a half hours." Qrow mumbled.

"I'm sorry I didn't listen...and sorry I ruined our evening plans. I know we wanted to...ya know...tonight, but I'm just not up for it now." he added.

"It's okay, baby bird, tonight we can just relax and watch a movie." Clover assured Qrow.

He washes his hands off in the bathroom then turns on the tv and lets Qrow pick out a movie. Next there's a knock at the door.

"That must be room service with our dinner." Clover said pausing the movie.

For dinner, Clover had steak while Qrow had fettuccini alfredo. Somehow, Qrow sweet talked Clover into feeding him by stating, "the sunburn made his arms too sore to lift".

"You just wanted me to pamper you, didn't you?" Clover giggled.

"Yeah, but I love it when you spoil me. And I love you, baby, I love you very much." Qrow replied.

"I love you too, honey." Clover said kissing the top of Qrow's head.

Poor Qrow had a sunburn that lasted for the rest of their vacation, and by then end his skin was peeling. Because of this experience, Qrow learned to never neglect putting on sunscreen.
