I'm in love with my best friend

Chap 7; Overthinking

He'd been staring at his screen the entire night because he'd been in shock after the conversation with very drunk George. He hadn't been able to move from his chair or even fall asleep.

He suddenly felt something furry touch his leg and he jumped slightly but, when he looked to see what it was, It was his cat. He smiled down at her, "Do you want some food?" she meowed in response and he stood up from his chair to go prepare her food.

He'd walked into the kitchen and started to prepare her food, and fill up her water bowl. After he'd finished, he'd set the bowls down for her and called her over. She came over towards him meowing and then she started to chow down on her food.

He smiled down at her, admiring how pretty she really was. God he loved her..Almost as much as he loved Georg- He silently shook his head and felt his face heat up from the thought.

He leaned down and pet her a little bit and then went over to the fridge and grabbed out a leftovers bowl of mac 'n cheese. He put it in the microwave, and pressed the heat up button on the microwave.

He tapped his foot on the floor and stared at the wall in thought. He was thinking about what George said to him, how George basically admitted he was in love with him. He didn't know what to think. Was he in love with George as well? Did he want to kiss him? he felt himself flush deeper at that thought. He sighed softly, and headed back up to his room to check his phone. 

He grabbed his phone from off his computer desk and turned it on. He saw he had a couple messages from Sapnap and he opened them. 

Hey man how're you  doing?

Sent at 2:30 am

I'm doing okay, What's up man?

Sent at 2:31 am

I just wanted to know if you've talked to George?

Sent at 2:40 am

No I haven't why?

Sent at 2:44 am

Well, after that whole..Display he did.

 I've been trying to get into contact with him

But he won't answer me.

Sent at 2:50 am

I don't know if i should..Talk to him yet. 

I think I'll give him a bit

Sent at 3:00 am

Sapnap took a bit to respond, so he decided to go check on his mac 'n cheese. He saw that the microwave had finished and he grabbed out the bowl, being careful because it was still hot.

He headed back upstairs and saw no response from Sapnap still, so he started to eat his mac 'n cheese.

He then got a notification on his phone, his heart leaped into his throat and he grabs his phone. But- it was just a notification for a youtube video and sighed leaning back onto his bed.  

A few minutes later, a small meow came from the door and he glanced towards it. Patches walked into the room, and she meowed again at him. He smiles and calls her over, and she leaps onto his bed. 

He gently strokes her fur, and she curls up next to him purring loudly. He yawns, starting to get sleepy. He starts to close his eyes and fall asleep.

it'd been a couple minutes and then he finally fell asleep- Patches curled up at his side, and they both slept peacefully.

This chapter was much shorter than the last chapter

I would've added more but i got writer's block
