The Master
Prologue
A lone master, shrouded in darkness and light,
Had given up his dreams, and took flight,
For he knew something that shouldn't be known,
The thing is a morbid killer; a soldier fighting alone.
I
The master was powerful in disguise.
And before, he had many ties.
To the government, to the people,
But it was before his fall.
II
A newcomer came to the palace,
And although reluctant, he let him pass.
He seemed to be kind and to be pitied,
But he did not know this demon's fallacy.
III
The master, his wings having an aura of silver and white,
Had finally the newcomer's fallacy in sight.
However, the newcomer was favored,
By his leader, whom the master adored.
IV
He confronted this demon, but alas,
The demon has finished what he was tasked to do.
A portal has been opened, where many demons passed,
And around the city, ravens started to coo.
V
A great debauchery ensued,
As demons pushed,
From the castle's innards,
To the castle's ramparts.
VI
To stop this madness,
The master sacrificed his pride.
He thought that it was for the best,
And so, he casted the spell, side-by-side.
VII
The demon survived the ordeal,
But, instead of dying, the master and him made a deal;
Never to return to this land,
Instead, be a subordinate under his hand.
VIII
His action was condemned by the government.
And so, he gave up his dreams, and took flight;
For he showed compassion to a demon,
The demon, a powerful lord, the son of Charon.
