Killua, Gon, and Leorio were back at the Zoldyck mansion, none of them wanted to be a third wheel, so they all made up some excuse as to why they couldn't accompany you two on your date. You had told Kurapika that because you felt bad, you'd give him the date and though you acted unamused, you were curious and somewhat exited to see where he would take you.
"Where do you imagine you being on a first date?" He asked you.
"Hmmm.." you thought, placing your fingers on your chin.
"I don't know." You bluntly said.
"You don't know?" He asked, turning to face you.
You shook your head, "nope."
"Have you ever thought about it?" He asked.
This time, you really had to think about it, looking into your past, you remembered the day your childhood crush asked you out.
You two wandered into a garden a few miles west and got lost.
"I don't know." You said again.
"Then I guess it's my job to show you."
You blushed at this, "it's not like I like you." You said, closing your eyes and crossing your arms.
"Oh, okay, sure~?"
"Excuse me?"
"Oh nothing," Kurapika said putting his hands up.
"It's just that...." He staggered on for a build up.
He bent down, and slid his hands to his side. You were now face to face with him, though you had an unsettling frown o your face, and he had a smirk dangling at will.
"Your blushing." He whispered, his breath lightly brushing up against your lips. This reminded you of the first time you ad kissed him, in the hall closet of the hall leading to the family room. He was much persistent back then and definitely less confident. He changed, 'but for better of worse?' You thought He then stood up and changed his expression to a light frown saying.
"Oh well, maybe your not has tough as your persona claims to be." He said looking forward. You still couldn't say anything. You were amazed at how fast his attitude changed, he then turned to you and again whispered, "I still like you though."
Okay that was it, you were now walking on pitchforks and playing with fire. "B-Baka." Was all that came out. Your sad attempt to muster up a comeback was met with the laughter one a certain blonde. 'That's why most people refer to you as a bottom.' You wanted to say, but you couldn't because of how embarrassed you were in the moment, not like he would have gotten the joke anyway. You sighed and grabbed his hand, urging him to continue the walk to your mysterious rendezvous.
The path was shabby, it had tall grass leaning over, sometimes enough to hit you which made you scoot closer to Kurapika. The blonde boy found himself flushing over how cutely annoyed your were with the plant.
Time and time again you would stop bend over, with hands on your knees, and question, "are we there yet?" Usually the answer would be, "are you ever patient?" Which was met with a, "no."
"Okay, we have got to be there by now!" You panted out.
"Yes, actually. We have arrived." Your face showed a bright and wide grin. Your smile grew even wider once you saw what was in front of you. Where Kurapika had chosen to take you. It was only natural for you to be beat with surprise and excitement.
Anticipation rain all through your body as they're in front of you was a white poster made for out door movies. In front of it on the floor Leah blankets with mini different kinds of food. They were snacks, they were pastries, and there were are all favorite kinds of drinks. The the cherry on top was surrounding the blanket and all its goods, were petals of roses. "People say roses are a sign of love." You smirked nudging Kurapika once you had gotten rid of that dud before grin on your face.
"What are you trying to suggest?" Kurapika asked. You shrugged your shoulders, "oh nothing jus that..." this time you pause for affect, pulling Kurapika by hem on his shirt. He adjusted to where he was on your level, comfortably. Finally decided to speak, "your blushing." This made Kurapika's eyes go wide. Of course you would have a revenge plan, your probably had set it in motion the second he teased you, sooner if possible. Though your little scheme all came together on a whim, it was now done and over with. Your eyes refocused on the beautiful picnic/drive-in date that you had been taken on.
You and Kurapika took your places on top of the beautiful y/c blanket that held your food. Can I be going to go set the movie i action, which you had noticed at the beginning. Your face dropped when your favorite movie started playing. Your mouth stood agape and what you though you had thought on your head was actually said allowed, earning you an answer you wanted, but didn't expect to get.
"How?" You vocalized.
"It's wasn't hard, when I've been with you for about a month now."
"Oh, since you've been with be?" You smirked looking up at the most of the time socially awkward boy.
"Y-you know what I meant."
"Of course." You said, earning you a kick to the back, before Kurapika sat back down.
" Okay first of all rude." Use spat rubbing your back where the honey blonde had kicked you, it was a light kick, but you were over dramatic and petty. " Second off, what did you think I meant?" You asked leaning further than the heavens could.
Kurapika started stammering and dragging his words to obviously by him time to come up with a non intimate excuse.
"Yeah yeah. Calm down lover boy I was only kidding." You assured smacking him on his back.
Something was off with him. He couldn't tell what, but he knew, ever since he had been grated into that hall closet, he had been attached to you in someway. Previously he just shoved the thoughts away, thinking it must have just been your influence or something. Well he was right about that, it was your influence that had his mind in circles, trying to wrap his head around why he was moody without you around or why he was always in a way better mood than before he met you when the two of you hung out or were just in the same room, vicinity even. Why was someone like you, a tsundre, an assassin, a killer, replacing his revenge thoughts on something else. No it wasn't just something else he knew. It was you, he couldn't exactly grasp the situation or reason, but he knew slowly but surely he was falling in love.
"Hey Kurapika!" You whisper shouted in his ear, tugging on his sleeve. "What?" He questioned looking down at the girl beside him in curiosity. "Look!" You pointed with your free hand." The boy looked over and what he saw made him smile. Genuinely smile. You were pointing at a white rabbit that had just hopped it swing in front of the white banner the movie was playing on. "It's sooo cute!" You cooed. Kurapika sweat dropped that how excited you were at just a small dainty creature.
"Isn't it adorable?!" You asked in a whisper shout again. can I pick a slowing nodded his head before unknowingly you pulling you into his chest. You were caught off guard by the sudden action, it left you in shock, and though it malfunctioned everything else in your head, it didn't stop the blood rushing to your cheeks.
