Feelings and Emotions, we all have them. They drive many of us, motivate us, hold us back, and stop us. But one thing that keeps us human are these feelings, these emotions.
Since the beginning of Man, the beginning of Time, there was an outer force that called out to us. It gave humans incredible powers beyond words. And it still does.
This mysterious voice still calls out to humanity, to grant a select few a chance to receive the Great Gifts. Wealth, Eternal Peace, Rebirth, Power, Immortality, and Acceptance. Those blessed by this force often use their new extraordinary abilities to battle and decide for themselves who receives these gifts. These abilities are directly related to their most dominant emotion.
Every so often there are 24 people blessed with these powers. They are given rules by the mysterious force as well as the locations of the Great Gifts. It is up to the users of these powers who receives these gifts. Who will succeed, who will fail, and who will succumb to their emotions?
This is the way of Pathos.
