"Tomorrow?" Gabi asked.

"Yes." Alana said, beginning to cry once more.

Gabi was speechless.
She went numb.

The glass crunched underneath her foot as she walked out.
The cold breeze from outside, now traveling in.

Gabi stumbled her way into her room, just as Aurora walked out of the bathroom.

"What happened?" Aurora said, getting her pajamas out.

Gabrielle tried her best to say something.
Anything.
But no sound came out.

"Gabs?" Aurora asked, worry flushed over her face.  "What happened?"

"We're moving."  Gabi said.

-

Gabi sat in front of her beloved friend, explaining everything.

Tears streaming down both girls' faces.
Never in a million years, did they think they would have to say goodbye so soon.
Memories flashed back into the conversation.

-

It was now nighttime, and Aurora was fast asleep.
Gabi gazed at her ceiling, thinking of tomorrow.
She didn't want to say goodbye.

Gabi climbed out of bed, careful not to wake Aurora, and tiptoed over to her closet.

She pulled out a pair of black converse, and a blue fluffy jacket.
She walked over to the window, opening it slowly.

The blue-eyed girl climbed out of her window, sitting on the roof.

The view was breathtaking.
Dark clouds covered the sky.
Moonlight reflecting off the water.
The field of dandelions they used to play in sat at her feet.

Slowly, Gabi climbed down the ladder she had attached to the roof, in case Aurora came over during the night.

She walked towards the field of dandelions, her mouth dropping.

It was more captivating then she remembered.

She laid in the field, memories swarming her mind.

~Flashback:

"Ahhh hahaha!" the puny girl shrieked.

"Get back here!" the boy called, scooping her up in his arms.

"Ahhh stop it!!" the girl giggled.

"Never." the boy said, beginning to tickle her.

The feeling of dandelions touching her face, made her laugh even more.

The boy eventually stopped tickling her and laid down beside her.

"That one looks like a dog." he said, pointing to the sky.

"No. It looks more like a dinosaur." the girl voiced. "See, it has the little bumps and everything."

"Lunch time!!" they heard their mom yell.
